Altrimenti consiglio di rivolgersi direttamente ai corrieri (a cui MBE si appoggia, del resto) con cui si può comodamente concordare, sul sito web di essi, il ritiro plico a domicilio con tariffe decisamente meno oscene. Absolutely gross prices. To be used only in cases of extreme necessity and urgency. Otherwise, I advise you to contact the couriers directly (to which MBE relies, for that matter) with which you can easily agree, on their website, the home parcel collection with decidedly less obscene rates.

Sono passato prima di spedire portando con me le misure per avere un preventivo, che era stato stimato per un massimo di 80€ tra spedizione e imballaggio. Il giorno della spedizione metto un po’ di cellofan attorno al materasso per impedire che si sporchi durante il trasporto e ci rechiamo presso la loro sede. Arrivati lì il prezzo sale magicamente da 80€ a 100€ perché si dovevano fare due colli separati (al momento del preventivo avevo specificato che avrei dovuto spedire materasso più branda). Decido di spedire comunque perché stavo lasciando l’appartamento. Al momento della consegna arriva la vera sorpresa. Come si può vedere dalle foto hanno lasciato l’imballaggio di fortuna che avevo fatto a casa, aggiungendo solo un po’ di nastro adesivo e hanno imballato solo la branda. Peccato che il prezzo era lievitato proprio perché si dovevano fare due pacchi diversi. Chiamo per lamentarmi e mi rispondono di mandare le foto tramite mail. La loro risposta è stata che sono stato io a dirgli di non imballare il materasso (assolutamente falso) e che nessuno mi ha costretto ad accettare il preventivo, il che fondamentalmente è vero ma almeno avessi ricevuto il servizio che ho pagato. Esperienza pessima. Having to move, I needed to send a double bed plus cot. I went by before shipping bringing with me the measurements to get a quote, which was estimated at a maximum of € 80 between shipping and packaging. On the day of shipment, I put some cellophane around the mattress to prevent it from getting dirty during transport and we go to their premises. Once there, the price magically rises from € 80 to € 100 because you had to make two separate packages (at the time of the estimate I had specified that I would have to send mattress plus cot). I decide to ship anyway because I was leaving the apartment. At the time of delivery comes the real surprise. As you can see from the photos, they left the makeshift packaging that I had made at home, adding just a little adhesive tape and packed only the cot. Too bad that the price had risen precisely because two different packages had to be made. I call to complain and they tell me to send the photos by email. Their response was that I was the one who told them not to pack the mattress (absolutely fake) and that no one forced me to accept the quote, which is basically true but at least I had received the service I paid for. Bad experience.
