 Bronze is certainly one of the most durable and versatile materials for this type of sculpture, positioned at the mercy of atmospheric events. Beautiful classic representation of the Capitoline Wolf that fits perfectly within this city park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nei giardini si trova una copia della famosa Lupa Capitolina, opera del V secolo avanti Cristo conservata presso i Musei Capitolini di Roma. Simbolo di Roma e diventata, tra le due guerre, simbolo della romanità fascista, l'opera venne riprodotta proprio negli anni regime in più esemplari ed esposta in diverse città italiane. Inviata a Reggio intorno al 1935, a ridosso della grande mostra della romanità nel 1937, la Lupa venne sistemata presso i Giardini Pubblici.
In the gardens there is a copy of the famous Capitoline Wolf, a work from the 5th century BC preserved in the Capitoline Museums in Rome. Symbol of Rome and become, between the two wars, a symbol of fascist Romanism, the work was reproduced over the years in several copies and exhibited in various Italian cities. Sent to Reggio around 1935, close to the great Roman exhibition in 1937, the Lupa was placed in the Public Gardens.
