★ ★ ★ ★ ★ il panorama è mozzafiato al tramonto. Ma l'intera area versa nel degrado totale. Nonostante nel periodo di bonifica fosse stato concepito come un porto fluviale, Foce Rio Martino è stato oggetto di un recupero davvero controverso che non solo lo ha stravolto nella forma, ma lo ha reso praticamente inutilizzabile. Le braccia circolari hanno sostituto quelle dritte e raccolgono la sabbia delle maree rendendo impossibile il passaggio delle barche, le banchine sono state tutte dismesse e lo scivolo non ha un parcheggio e alcune parti della sponda sono state erose dal fiume in piena. Inoltre la piccola area archeologica è chiusa da una recinzione e lasciata a se stessa, mentre i ruderi della Torre di Fogliano sono avviliti dal degrado del contesto in cui sorgono.
Anche qui il Comune di Latina assieme al Parco Nazionale del Circeo hanno dimostrato una cattiva gestione delle potenzialità e delle risorse che il paesaggio di Latina offre.
the view is breathtaking at sunset. But the whole area is in total decay. Although in the period of reclamation it was conceived as a river port, Foce Rio Martino was the subject of a truly controversial recovery that not only changed its shape, but made it practically unusable. The circular arms have replaced the straight ones and collect the sand of the tides making it impossible for the boats to pass, the docks have all been abandoned and the slide has no parking and some parts of the bank have been eroded by the river in flood. Furthermore, the small archaeological area is closed by a fence and left to itself, while the ruins of the Torre di Fogliano are degraded by the deterioration of the context in which they arise.
Here too the Municipality of Latina together with the Circeo National Park have shown a bad management of the potential and resources that the landscape of Latina offers.

A somewhat abandoned place, there is a crumbling building not at all nice to see and a large yard for cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A sandbeach with not much people. Sand, as per MiddleTerranean - quite nice. Warm sea. Beach is close to the car parking, so you don't have to walk long distances. Low street car traffic. Low price as parking is payable with 2,5E per whole day. Beautiful sun. Quiet.
