Nel suo punto più profondo è stata collocata una croce che è visibile quando c'è una bella giornata di sole e acqua limpida. C'è anche un'isola galleggiante formata dagli arbusti e dalla vegetazione tipica della riserva, citata anche da Plinio Il Vecchio. Ovviamente è un'oasi ideale anche per alcune specie di animali. La passeggiata ideale domenicale per chi non si vuole allontanare troppo da casa. The lake of Posta Fibreno is located at the foot of the mountains of the National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise and it is thanks to the underground springs of these mountains that he was formed. At its deepest point a cross has been placed which is visible when there is a beautiful sunny day and clear water. There is also a floating island formed by the shrubs and vegetation typical of the reserve, also mentioned by Pliny the Elder. Obviously it is also an ideal oasis for some species of animals. È possibile ammirare una grande varietà di fauna come folaghe, germani reali, nutrie e trote. Molto bella la sensazione di una quasi totale immersione nella natura. Il silenzio e i richiami degli animali sono la vera colonna sonora di questa località. Meraviglioso il poter vedere l'ossigeno prodotto dalle alghe risalire verso la superficie del lago. Possibilità di affittare pedalò e canoe per un giro sul lago. I motori della imbarcazioni sono rigorosamente elettrici. Possibility to rent pedal boats and canoes for a ride on the lake. The engines of the boats are strictly electric.

Adatta per chi è appassionato di natura e ambienti non troppo chiassosi, per gli amanti della camminata c è anche un piccolo percorso con tanto di attraversata sul ponte. Molto carina, davvero consigliata. The Lago di Posta Fibreno nature reserve is a protected natural area within the province of Frosinone, known for the presence of a floating island. Luogo magico e rasserenante immerso nella natura più incontaminata frequentata molto dalle paperette che passeggiano nel lago e ti fanno compagnia aspettando di mangiare qualche briciolina gentilmente offerta dagli ammiratori... ?
