★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ospitalità assente.Arriviamo in questa cantina da una strada impraticabile e ci viene incontro il proprietario che ci chiede a bruciapelo:dovete comprare qualcosa?altrimenti siamo chiusi...al che ce ne andammo senza nemmeno ribattere...non credo che questo approccio all'enoturista sia il migliore biglietto da visita
Absent hospitality. We arrive in this cellar from an impassable road and the owner comes to us and asks us point-blank: otherwise you have to buy something? Otherwise we are closed ... to which we left without even replying ... I don't think this approach to wine tourist is the best business card

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo telefonato prima per avvertire i proprietari della nostra visita, ma lo stesso non ci aspettavamo una così calda accoglienza. La signora Raffaella gentilissima si è presa tempo e pazienza per farci visitare la cantina che stanno costruendo e spiegarci tutto dei vigneti e della loro storia. Luoghi stupendi, sia dal punto di vista paesaggistico che architettonico. Vini eccellenti.
We phoned earlier to warn the owners of our visit, but still we weren't expecting such a warm welcome. The very kind Mrs. Raffaella took time and patience to let us visit the winery they are building and explain everything about the vineyards and their history. Wonderful places, both from a landscape and architectural point of view. Excellent wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se posso dire la mia opinione a proposito di Aglianico penso di potermi esprimere in modo mirato riguardo questo immenso vitigno. L' Aglianico, viene così definito : " Il Barolo del sud". Non per me. Il Barolo è il Barolo, e l'Aglianico è l'Aglianico. E Luigi Maffini è un Maestro Vignaiolo. Grazie di esistere.
If I can say my opinion about Aglianico I think I can express myself in a targeted way about this immense grape variety. The Aglianico is defined as follows: "The southern Barolo". Not for me. Barolo is Barolo, and Aglianico is Aglianico. And Luigi Maffini is a Master Winemaker. Thanks for existing.

We arrived when the place was closed but than the owner came and opened the place just for us- including a very detailed tour of the place.
Amazing hospitality by amazing people which make the amazing wine ever more amazing.
