Il vicario Lelio Fierro visita le chiese dell'abitato di Trentinara. Viene menzionato per la prima volta l'edificio che ci viene descritto con soffitto ligneo dipinto, 2 campane, 2 porte e con un altare laterale dedicato a San Nicola
DescrizioneLa chiesa si presenta a navata unica e termina in un’abside rettangolare. Il passaggio tra la zona destinata all'assemblea ed il presbiterio è segnato da un arco trionfale. Lungo le pareti laterali dell'aula sacra sono presenti tre altari devozionali per lato. La chiesa, oltre all'ingresso sul fronte principale è accessibile anche da un ingresso collocato sul fronte sinistro. Alle spalle del presbiterio è collocata la sacrestia. La copertura della zona absidale è caratterizzata da una cupola impostata su pennacchi, mentre l’intera aula ha una copertura piana con tavolato semplicemente accostato e dipinto, con motivi floreali

Description The church has a single nave and ends in a rectangular apse. The passage between the area intended for the assembly and the presbytery is marked by a triumphal arch. Along the side walls of the sacred hall there are three devotional altars on each side. The church, in addition to the entrance on the main front is also accessible from an entrance located on the left front. Behind the presbytery is the sacristy. The roof of the apse area is characterized by a dome set on pendentives, while the entire hall has a flat roof with a plank simply juxtaposed and painted, with floral motifs
