★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spacious apartment with an excellent view over the lake, Isola and Orta and the surrounding landscape (much better view than that from Orta and much more local experience than that what you get in touristy Orta). Nice people. Down-to-earth Osteria, Pizza takeaway and small food shop with fresh bread within easy walking distance. Pella with a good cafe, a pizzeria and a more expensive restaurant can be reached via a short walk down some quite steep steps (and along the lake-side promenade). Having a car is a plus.
