Grazie di tutto e alla prossima! Highly recommended place. The cuisine is excellent. The owners are now friends: welcoming, very kind and always smiling. We can't wait to go back. A	Annalisa Esposito on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una volta scoperto questo caratteristico borgo sarebbe stato bello cenare anche qui ma le uniche risposte che abbiamo avuto sono state : "per il menù controllate su internet" e "non possiamo farvi vedere la terrazza perché è chiusa". Morale della favola : eravamo in 10 e non abbiamo poi prenotato. Suggerisco di essere più accoglienti e disponibili. Buon lavoro. Once we discovered this characteristic village it would have been nice to have dinner here too but the only answers we had were: "check the internet for the menu" and "we can't show you the terrace because it is closed". Moral of the story: there were 10 of us and we didn't book. I suggest being more welcoming and helpful. Good job.

Personale gentilissimo, cordiale e molto disponibile. La cucina casereccia e squisita della signora Angele e del signor Tonino. Buona la pizza, eccellenti le carne alla brace, ravioli alle nocciole e lo zuccotto. Squisito e simpatico padrone di casa Nicola. L'atmosfera della terrazza ed il panorama fantastici. Da consigliare e provare! Rooms quite comfortable, clean and tidy with daily change of sheets and towels. Very friendly staff, friendly and very helpful. The delicious home cooking of Signora Angele and Signor Tonino. Good pizza, excellent grilled meat, hazelnut ravioli and zuccotto. Exquisite and nice landlord Nicola. The atmosphere of the terrace and the fantastic view. To recommend and try!

Ottimi anche i contorni, la ciambotta, patate e funghi. Molto professionale il giovane che ci ha seguito per le portate Congratulations to the pizza chef. D	Donatella Malta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ambiente familiare e informale. Abbiamo ricevuto un'accoglienza calorosa e servizio impeccabile. Ho apprezzato la scelta variegata sia di primi che di secondi. Ho assaggiato sia gli uni che gli altri. Molto più buoni i secondi. Ho trovato l'agnello davvero buono, così come il pollo al mattone che consiglio assolutamente. Molto sfiziose le bruschette con il porcino grigliato. Ho apprezzato un po' meno i primi. I tagliolini erano buonissimi, si sentiva la pasta fatta in casa, e l'odore dei funghi porcini molto intenso, un po' troppo acquosi forse. I ravioli con le nocciole mi ispiravano tantissimo, ma mi hanno lasciata insoddisfatta. Si sentiva molto il sapore della nocciola, che era qualcosa di molto particolare e che non ho mai assaggiato altrove. Ma non mi ha convinto l'accostamento con la ricotta che era più acidula rispetto alla salsina. Ma nel complesso sono abbastanza soddisfatta. Penso che ogni piatto sia stato fatto con cura e questo si è visto. Lo consiglio a coloro che amano la cucina casereccia. Familiar and informal atmosphere. We received a warm welcome and impeccable service. I appreciated the varied choice of both first and second courses. I tasted both the one and the other. The second courses are much better. I found the lamb really good, as well as the brick chicken which I absolutely recommend. The bruschetta with grilled porcini are very tasty. I liked the first courses a little less. The tagliolini were very good, you could smell the homemade pasta, and the smell of the porcini mushrooms very intense, a little too watery perhaps. Ravioli with hazelnuts inspired me a lot, but they left me unsatisfied. There was a lot of hazelnut flavor, which was something very special and I have never tasted anywhere else. But I was not convinced by the combination with ricotta which was more acidic than the sauce. But overall I am quite satisfied. I think every dish has been done with care and this has shown. I recommend it to those who love home cooking.

Our Lamb Chops were superb, the wine (their own label) was wonderful, every piece of bread was mouth watering. This family takes great pride in their restaurant's food, wine, and service, and it shows. It is a bit out of the way but a beautiful little town worth the drive if only to eat at Locanda al Castello! Did I mention the entire dinner with wine was under $25? Just go!
