★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience on the island. Very slippery billing tactics. Beware. After unapologetically spilling oil on my wife’s Purse, the staff still had the audacity to overcharge us for the items we ordered. Previously, I had visited L’Ovilo, a 2x Michelin Star restaurant at Capri Palace where I paid 60 EUR for a Turbot fish. I had paid 50 EUR for the same fresh fish at another Michelin Star restaurant, Gelsomina. So imagine my surprise when Lo Smeraldo, which is a shabby beachside tourist trap, charged 160 EUR for a Turbot and a Sea Bass with the most basic preparation, not properly cleaned, and with nothing special. I went at the recommendation of a friend and didn’t care to ask the price before ordering, my mistake. If you go. Be smart. But then again, just don’t go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is great but very expensive food I ever had in my tour to Italy .. it should be rated $$$$$ sign on google just for warning. They present all their fish types and you make a selection but you would not expect it cost you a $90 ?? I’m giving one star just for misleading

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing fish and sea food! Great relaxed atmosphere and super friendly staff. A great place to hang out during the day or before boarding the ferry to Naples! I regret that I discovered that place only at the very end of our trip to Capri and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the posh, overpriced Capri centre. Thank you guys! :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food, peaceful and of course, beautiful! Waiters are attentive but not too attentive! My veal was tender and the sauce was just like my mama made when I was young. (She was from Napoli.) I turned on my headphones, played Italian music and absorbed the beautiful view all around me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stop before departure to Blue Cave! We enjoyed the view, the coffee and the amazing recommended Capri cakes: homemade chocolate cake and lemon cake! No flour used, not too sweet! Perfect with espresso! Love it! 100% recommended! Simone awaits for you here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lovely place deserves five stars. The location is unbeatable, immediately beside and overlooking the quiet side of the bay. The Caprese salad, from the island of Capri, was fresh and delicious. We shared two pastas and we’re not disappointed. Service was good and prices were fair. I would certainly return.
