M	M M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food. Not sure what others are claiming. Never has anyone tried to sell me watches and definitely not a tourist trap, in fact quite the opposite. Quaint not many people as it is an alleyway which makes it perfect.

When I walk in I've always asked for things that aren't on the menu and I get them. The conversation is second to none. Stay late. Franco has much history about the island and Italy in general to tell you about. He is a great person to share conversation with. Salvatore, is Franco's brother, and can keep you laughing. Even Gaetano the waiter, will be at your beck and call. This is a REAL family place, with REAL Italian cooking, by REAL Italians. They make a great pizza also(if you must go to Italy to order a pizza). My wife and I go for 2 weeks every year, and only eat dinner in 1 place, La Cisterna. They're a beautiful family, and beautiful people. If you don't want the best, and don't mind paying too much for the ``food" you get, go somewhere else. This is the BEST in Capri.

The owner gave us the check with an unintelligible handwriting. We were used to pay the coperto fee as it's something usual in Italy but he charged and extra 10% fee. I asked what it was and the owner got mad, pushing us to pay quickly. While going out, I told a couple about the 10% fee and he started yelling at me. DO NOT EAT HERE. Terrible owners and horrible experience.

However, the food was overpriced and the owner added a 10% fee on top of the restaurant fee (called coperto) for no reason except that he was hoping to cash some more money from the unaware tourist. He finally removed it after we protested but we will NEVER go back to this place. We ended up paying €30 for a plate of pasta which is ludicrous.There is plenty of other restaurants around the area that this is easily avoidable.
B	Ben Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best looking restaurant we could find in the area that seemed somewhat authentic and wasn't serving "Hamburger" or extremely overpriced. The owner stood out front and greeted us as we walked past; after checking out a few others we decided to try it out. The ravioli was the best thing we ordered. Pizza was okay; better than most in the area but not the best we had in Italy. The wine was also okay. The owner was very nice and entertaining; the atmosphere was laid back and we had a great time overall. He did charge us a 6 Euro table charge (don't recall seeing it anywhere on the menu but I could be mistaken). Out of the options available, we would go back to this restaurant and recommend it to others.
B	Ben Anoff on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is fantastic. Very welcoming family run restaurant. The food is excellent value for money and the service is truly attentive. The recommendations were even more delicious than as described by the manager. The negative reviews here seem to show a lack of appreciation for a place with personality, there are plenty of plastic places on Capri, thankfully some are still unique.
