I would skip this joint. The food is decent, but not great and nothing unusal... The price is quite high and the host was about as pissy as they come. The interior decor is also just ok. Our lunch was around $150 (1 salad, 2 fish entrees, 1 coffee, 1 dessert) and the experience, the service and the food didn't match the price.

Fancy restaurant where the owner advertises that a lot of celebs come here by decorating with all their pictures on the walls. The service was nice and the decor is homey and clean. We highly recommend the eggplant parmesan! The tomato soup and the pizza were just okay but usually we would not have ordered a pizza at a place like this, we were just in a hurry to catch a ferry. I imagine the other items on the menu must be better.

One of the most famous and probably oldest restaurant in Capri. Unfortuantely no matter how big staff they have, the service​ is unfriendly and the worst on the island. The food is nothing special аnd mind that on the top of everything written above they charge 15% service​.

Our concierge at Punta Tragara recommended Aurora. I never read reviews but my son asked me where we were going. I told him and he pointed out that there were some negative reviews. I read them and they are just wrong and misguided. I felt I needed to set the record straight. While everyone is entitled to their opinion , there are some things being said that are just untrue. The food is excellent. We found the service to be very good as well. Katerina was not only very welcoming but terrific all around. The other staff were efficient, friendly and made us feel great. The atmosphere was great. A very good and positive vibe. I think the most important thing is that when you consider price , it isn't just about the food item, it is about the whole package. The atmosphere, location, service, quality of food, and everything else. The prices were more than reasonable. My wife and I left happy and I'm fact want to go again before we leave. You should know where you are going and what the prices are before you go. It is not fair to go and then complain about the price in my opinion. You simply can choose not to go there. With respect to the 15% service charge that some people complain about , I will say that it is clearly stated on the menu. Nobody is hiding anything. I am very happy they include it. In Italy you cannot leave a tip on a credit card and we just do not carry cash anymore. This is great for the customer and the wait staff as it solves that cash problem. They work hard and I understand service people also depend on tips. I for one was happy that it was included and wish more places here would do the same. This shows the restaurant also cares about its service and it's people. I applaud it. When we received our bill, it was completely itemized properly and correct. I would not believe any reviews that say this isn't the case. It is all proper. I recommend Aurora highly and would say that if you are someone adverse to spending money and simply are looking for the cheapest place then do not come here. They don't need you as a customer either. Aurora was fantastic and I wanted to answer the reviews with my own after my experience. Excellent all around !!!!!!

We had visited Aurora after a concierge's recommendation. The interior of Aurora reminds a fancy London or New York Italian restaurant. Food is nice ? Good wine list. It seems they get reservations with big groups, so it gets noisy ? I think a couple felt uncomfortable with the level of noise and left. If you arrive early the music can be a turn off ? They play American radio hits. Later on you can't hear the music over the voices ? And yes - it is a Celeb Spot ?

Excellent dining experience! Their house red was delicious, followed by an amazing bread selection. Next we enjoyed the fish carpaccio which was smooth and not over baring. I went with the Pancheri with lobster, which was so good! The lobster was cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic. My wife went with cacio and she thoroughly enjoyed it. We were pleasantly full and opted out of dessert but the chef sent us a small selection of delicious desserts that we could not help but eat. Food, service, friendliness, and atmosphere was great. We will eat here again and I would recommend you try

It has a friendly staff that works a mot to make you feel comfortable. That's the only good thing about it. Food is good but not great. Tuna Tatar has no taste. 75 euro per person, having a glass of wine, and one of the dishes pizza… doesn’t worth it. It could be a nice fancy place but is only a pretentious place
