Poco preparati e competenti.

We are in Livigino 2-3 times a year. However, what we experienced last Saturday questions the hospitality in all respects. After breakfast at around 9:30 a.m. we wanted to drive through the tunnel in the direction of the Ofen Pass in Switzerland. A police vehicle was parked at the last roundabout in Livigno and prevented us from continuing our journey on the grounds that the tunnel was closed every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the winter months. Since the road towards the Bernina Pass was also closed, we had to accept a detour of 3 hours via Tirano to Lucerne. After discussing why this was the case with the tunnel authority on Monday, we were informed that the Livigno authority had ordered it and that communication was not at its best. It can't be that the departing guests are treated like that and that the authorities don't care at all which detour they take to get home. They even sold us a return ticket and said nothing about a tunnel closure. Good information and communication is something else...!!

Livigno is simply worth seeing, with snow of course! The road to get there is neither short nor beautiful but it is really worth it! I will definitely be back ... We didn't ski but we went shopping and the weather is really nice! Only note: it is at high altitude so cover up well because the temperatures drop drastically (when we went it was -10 ° C)
