La Jamie, fiorentina americana,
lavora sempre e mai la trovi in ozio
perch’ella ha una bottega artigiana
assai differente da un negozio.
Non fa la macellara o l’ortolana.
Tre mesi, da un solstizio a un equinozio,
per un violino. E la verniciatura,
ad olio, tre ulteriori mesi dura.
Forse chi trova chiuso non si cura
del fatto che il lavor d’un artigiano
non è fatto da macchine e sicura
sarà l’urgenza d’ogni essere umano.
E se girata è la serratura,
ma col bandone alzato, vada piano
col suo giudizio forse un po’ affrettato
ché l’opra del lavor non è il mercato.
