Nicola lavora la pietra e crea ricordi personalizzati mentre ti racconta la storia della sua terra tra telai che hanno duecento anni e il rumore dei suoi attrezzi con cui dà vita alle richieste dei clienti. Consigliatissimo! Entering a trullo and discovering that there is a world inside to be known. Nicola works the stone and creates personalized memories while he tells you the story of his land between looms that are two hundred years old and the noise of his tools with which he gives life to customer requests. Highly recommended!

Non avevamo idea che ci avrebbe fatto scoprire un intero mondo, di cui fino a quel momento sapevamo poco o niente: quello dei trulli. Abbiamo avuto il piacere di ascoltare da lui, persona umile, gentile e disponibilissima, la vera storia di Alberobello e dei suoi trulli, raccontata con dovizia di particolari, come date e riferimenti a fonti storiche. Ci si rende conto, ascoltando le sue parole, di quanto i trulli siano magici e misteriosi, proprio come i simboli apotropaici che vengono da sempre dipinti sui loro coni e che lui a sua volta incide sulla pietra realizzando magneti, personalizzabili con le proprie iniziali e la data della visita alla città. Vi consigliamo vivamente di acquistarne uno come abbiamo fatto noi! The Lithos shop is a true excellence in Alberobello. We entered by chance, intrigued by the stone working of Nicola, a lithographer by profession. We had no idea that it would make us discover a whole world, of which until that moment we knew little or nothing: that of the trulli. We had the pleasure of hearing from him, a humble, kind and extremely helpful person, the true story of Alberobello and its trulli, told in great detail, such as dates and references to historical sources. One realizes, listening to his words, of how magical and mysterious the trulli are, just like the apotropaic symbols that have always been painted on their cones and that he in turn engraves on the stone creating magnets, which can be customized with their initials and the date of the visit to the city. We highly recommend that you buy one like we did!
