LINGUA IT

From the five Italian Language schools in five different Italian regions I´ve been to over the past five years, LinguaIT is by far the best school I´ve ever visited. They combine the learning of the Italian language with a vast cultural program (just loved it), where the teacher takes always into consideration the student´s preferences (i.e. art, food & wine, opera, history, etc). They have a very modern kitchen and the very best chef ever, Andrea, "Il Cuoco" who, apart from giving cooking classes and the most wonderful and unforgettable wine tastes, is always paying attention to our learning of the Italian language as well. Enrico, the Art History teacher, is always involved in preparing the most beautiful excursions (Venice, Padova, Vicenza, etc.) and the language teachers are very well prepared as well. In order not to make the class boring (boring is a world that doesn´t exist AT ALL in LinguaIT) they have this very interesting method, where they always change the teacher in the last hour of class, bringing always something new, such as games, conversation classes, actualities, etc... I can 200% highly super recommend LinguaIT and only congratulate Enrico, Alessia and Laura who have idealized such a perfect language school. Not to mention they have the lucky of having all this happening at Verona, one of the most beautiful cities I´ve ever been to. They have students coming there for the 10th year in a row! Well, I will definitely be back! LinguaIT, thank you for a rich, wonderful and unforgettable experience.

I have studied at a number of language schools in Italy but Lingua It is by far the best, in every way! From the initial email contact and assistance in finding perfect accommodation, to the friendliness and helpfulness of the teachers on arrival in Verona, from the stimulating content of the small group lessons to the wonderful, informative afternoon and weekend cultural activities ... one couldn’t ask for more.

I've just finished an intensive course in Italian there, and I'm very glad that I chose to go there. I'm a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh - where I began to learn Italian. My teachers from there (all Italian) recommended this school to me since I would be on a research trip in Verona, and I'm so glad I listened to their recommendation. The teachers here are all excellent, friendly and outgoing. The lessons are engaging and interesting, never tedious or monotonous, and of course, the prices are good too. Overall, this is an excellent experience for anyone who wants to learn Italian.

In 2016 I spent three weeks at LinguaIT, and I enjoyed it so much that I came back for another three weeks in 2018. My principal instructors have been Enrico and Marianna, and both were excellent. The array of fellow students is fascinating -- from many countries and each with his or her own interesting reason for studying the language. The entire staff of the school is very friendly and welcoming. A wonderful "extra" is that Enrico gives very interesting tours in the afternoon and on alternative Saturdays, both in Verona and in other cities in Veneto. Also, the school makes very good arrangements for boarding. I am coming back in another year or so, and my wife wants to join me at the school this next time.

Lingua IT is a fantastic school for learning Italian right in the middle of the historic centre of Verona. The classes are small and the teachers are excellent instructors as well as being very friendly and helpful. The lessons are not only useful but also lots of fun. As well as being a great place to learn Italian the school also organises extra-curricular activities for the students in the afternoons and weekends. These activities are invariably interesting as well as being a great way to get to know the other students and to practice the language. I cannot rate the school highly enough. I like it so much that I have done courses there the times times over the last couple of years.

I've been attending Italian language classes here 3 hours daily for 3 weeks now. I could not be more happy with my choice to come here! The instructors are amazing, so warm, kind, helpful and thorough with covering all aspects of not only the language but the culture as well. It's not an easy thing to start speaking a new language but they remove all of the obstacles and make it so light (while deep!) experience. Before you know it you can begin speaking if you nust throw yourself into the experience. The school offers more advanced courses for those who already with a base in Italian. Many options for times and frequency make this a really flexible option for those wishing to learn. Whether you're passing through Verona for a week or staying here a while, they can accommodate your needs if space allows. The fellow students make the class experience even more rich; it's a wonderful place to meet fun, adventurous people from around the globe. If you're new to Verona they even offer optional cooking classes to learn about local cuisine (in a spacious and stylish kitchen!) along with conversational field trips of wonderful and off-the-wall places to know around the city.

Lingua IT is an outstanding language school that offers options for additional cultural, historic, art and culinary tours in Italian. They have great teachers and and a well organized language program. They even help with finding lodging in Verona for students. There are also outstanding Italian cooking classes.

I have just finished an intensive course at Lingua.it and I found it to be a great school, full of talented and dedicated teaching staff working with students from many different countries. The wonderful mix of cultures, backgrounds and experiences are all held together by a common desire and purpose in trying to learn to speak Italian. The classes are well structured, but flexible at the same time, enabling everyone to get the most out of the learning experience. I always found a great family atmosphere in the school, which enables students to get to know the other students in the school during any given week, even those who are in a different class. Also, the time before school, during the morning coffee break, which many of the students take in the nearby bar, and the time spent in extra-curricular activities, of which there are a number during the week, all help in creating opportunities to practice the language informally. If you are considering going to Verona to begin to study Italian or to improve on your language skills, I can most definitely recommend Lingua.it.
