T	Tommaso Tesi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ad i miei tempi un'ottima scuola a livello di struttura e dotazioni, ma come in tutte le scuole, molto dipende dalle sezioni e dai professori, alcuni eccezionali, di cui ancora ho un'ottimo ricordo, altri anche solo il parlarne sarebbe una perdita di tempo. In my time an excellent school in terms of structure and facilities, but like in all schools, a lot depends on the sections and the professors, some exceptional, of which I still have an excellent memory, others even just talking about it would be a loss of time.

Tante le aule speciali e uno splendido "centro sportivo" con piscina, campo tennis, calcetto e palestra! It was my high school, really a splendid structure built purposely to be a scientific high school. Many special classrooms and a splendid "sports center" with swimming pool, tennis court, soccer field and gym!
M	Mario Bazzi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A distanza di molti anni posso dire che non potevo sperare in una preparazione tecnico umanistica migliore. 1958 e seguenti LUZI- ALBANESE-MAINO che oggi sono tutti scomparsi ma che sono nel mio cuore, con gratitudine immensa per quanto di miglior insegnamento mi hanno generosamente elargito. Vedendo le foto dell'aula di scienze affiorano tantissimi ricordi belli. After many years I can say that I could not have hoped for a better humanistic technical preparation. 1958 and following LUZI-ALBANESE-MAINO who have all disappeared today but are in my heart, with immense gratitude for the best teaching they generously bestowed on me. Seeing the photos of the science classroom, many beautiful memories emerge.
m	marco merciai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ mi sono maturato mezzo secolo fa, allora era l'unico liceo quindi non avevamo scelta, ma a distanza ho visto che tantissimi della mia generazione ne hanno un buon ricordo, la maggior parte ha costruito un ottimo percorso universitario e lavorativo. Gli insegnanti erano ottimi, noi allievi un po' meno..... I matured half a century ago, then it was the only high school so we had no choice, but at a distance I saw that many of my generation have a good memory of it, most of them built an excellent university and working career. The teachers were excellent, we pupils a little less .....

Come scuola in sé, nonostante abbia fatto 5 anni senza nessun tipo di problema (salvo problemi personali minori con alcuni professori, che non riescono a separare il loro lavoro dalla loro vita), non mi sento di consigliarla a nessuno. C'è e c'è sempre stata troppa disparità tra sezioni: in alcune si arriva in quinta in 27, in altre il 13... L'autonomia di certi professori è esagerata ed al momento degli scrutini non c'è il controllo né il sospetto della dirigenza che si dovrebbe chiedere qualche "perché". Negli ultimi anni la dirigente è un'altra, ma siccome i professori per ora sono abbastanza invariati, mi sento di consigliare altre scuole (Russel Newton o Castelnuovo). Not a bad structure, as it was built in the late 1950s to be a scientific high school. As a school in itself, despite having done 5 years without any kind of problem (except for minor personal problems with some professors, who can't separate their work from their life), I don't recommend it to anyone. There is and there has always been too much disparity between sections: in some it comes in fifth in 27, in others the 13 ... The autonomy of some professors is exaggerated and at the time of the scrutinies there is no control nor the suspicion of management that some "why" should be asked. In recent years the manager is another, but since the professors are quite unchanged for now, I would recommend other schools (Russel Newton or Castelnuovo).

Ampi spazi comuni, laboratori di scienze, palestre, piscina. Insomma il Liceo ha voluto e saputo essere una importante esperienza di crescita per molte generazioni di studenti e ancora lo è Historic Florentine scientific high school. When it was designed and built it wanted to respond to new school and educational demands. Large common areas, science laboratories, gyms, swimming pool. In short, the Lyceum wanted and knew how to be an important growth experience for many generations of students and it still is

Ci sono vari laboratori di chimica, fisica e biologia, anche se io da studente non ci sono andato praticamente mai. L'insegnamento é spesso buono ma non sempre. Il cortile interno è ampio e sempre pulito. Internamente c'è un eccellente e fornitissimo museo naturale che si espande lungo i corridoi. La scuola è fornita di un'ampia piscina (al momento in manutenzione), di una buona palestra, di un campo da tennis e un piazzale enorme di cemento. La scuola in generale è ben tenuta e sempre pulita. Il distanziamento è sempre garantito e le regole anticovid molto severe. The structure was built specifically to house the school. There are various chemistry, physics and biology laboratories, although I hardly ever went there as a student. The teaching is often good but not always. The internal courtyard is large and always clean. Internally there is an excellent and well-stocked natural museum that extends along the corridors. The school has a large swimming pool (currently under maintenance), a good gym, a tennis court and a huge concrete yard. The school in general is well maintained and always clean. The spacing is always guaranteed and the anticovid rules are very strict.
