For better or worse, many kids have spent their teenage years in this neighborhood high school. One learns, one grows, and lasting friendships are built.

Negli ultimi 10 anni la direzione scolastica è stata più volte alternata, ma con dirigenti che ne hanno fatto una buona scuola, dove si pensa essenzialmente ad insegnare. Fondamentale in questo il contributo dei tanti insegnanti di ruolo di buona qualità, dei buoni dirigenti e di alcune figure importanti tra il personale ATA e amministrazione. Anche qui, come in tutte le scuole italiane, purtroppo si alternano anche insegnanti che decisamente valgono proprio poco... fortunatamente in genere con incarichi di breve durata. Al Donatelli inoltre c'è per tradizione una bella collaborazione scuola-famiglie, tramite un efficiente Comitato dei Genitori. La struttura è ben datata (ex ospedale ATM), ma funzionale, corridoi adeguati, palestre, cortile, laboratori sufficientemente attrezzati. Bella la novità introdotta recentemente della sostituzione delle lavagne tradizionali con PC a grande schermo connesso a internet. Bella la sala musica, bene i corsi a indirizzo musicale. Dirigenza unificata con il Pascal (via Corti), il che ogni tanto crea qualche difficoltà a insegnanti e dirigente che devono dividersi sui due plessi, ma in generale questa è una scuola che funziona, i ragazzi qui studiano in un clima sereno e di buoni principi, ed escono con una buona preparazione sia al percorso universitario che alla vita. Unified management with Pascal (via Corti), which occasionally creates some difficulties for teachers and managers who have to divide themselves on the two plexuses, but in general this is a school that works, the boys here study in a serene atmosphere and good principles , and come out with a good preparation both for university and for life.
