Beautiful historical library located in the heart of Milan (not very easy to reach especially by car) where a book lover can breathe a magical air for the amount of historical volumes present. Courteous and professional managers. They buy books after contact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo che oramai è più un unicum che una rarità a Milano, la libreria Malavasi è un punto di riferimento per tutti gli appassionati di libri antichi, stampe e simili. Sono tutti competenti e professionali con l'unica eccezione di una signora che, ahimè, evidentemente non ha ancora capito come trattare i clienti.
Place that is now more a unicum than a rarity in Milan, the Malavasi bookcase is a reference point for all lovers of old books, prints and the like. They are all competent and professional with the sole exception of a lady who, alas, evidently has not yet figured out how to treat customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conosco queata libreria dagli anni 70. Allora c'era un po' di confusione, il mio primo libro fu' (le fantasie rurali di Cesare Giudici, edito da Malatesta milano nel 1704 prima ediz.) pensate lo pagai 5 milalire. Adesso sono la pietra miliare della biblofilia grazie di esistere.
I have known this bookshop since the 70s. Then there was a bit of confusion, my first book was (the rural fantasies of Cesare Giudici, published by Malatesta Milan in 1704 first edition). Now they are the cornerstone of Bibliophilia thanks to exist.
