Great place to buy a second hand book at half price or less! If you are bookworm, definitely check this store out conveniently located on the big canal-Naviglio. They also have bigger bookstores throughout the city. In this store you can find the English, German, French etc books on the 2nd floor. Have fun!

One place in Milan I always find really good titles in English. They alps help find the titles they have. And to top it all off, the prices are very affordable!

Best place in Milano for books. Retains the surprise and joy of a nice discovery and has the widest choice. Four different shops in this Navigli location for a complete book-browsing experience.

Il Libraccio in via Corsico shares same philosophy with other Libraccio stores: by purchasing and reselling used schoolbooks (and books), they give new life to books, boost knowledge and help families and students with their budget. The personnel is extremely kind and well prepared, and that creates a piaitive atmosphere even when the store is crowded (in these Covid days, with queues out of fhe entrance). Parking is quite easy: there are some places (with paid stop) at few minutes distance near via Argelati, giving you the chance to cross the amazing Naviglio. The store is equipped also with schoolbooks new and all accessories for students. Another nice feature: on the other side of the road, there is a Libraccio for used ordinary (non-school) books, while at 20 metres onnthe same block there is another Libraccio bookstore for totally new books.

I went into the shop on the right and the guy was helpful and told me that I needed to cross the street in order to find the books in English. Once in the other shop, I found a great selection of English books but was horrified at how the man on the till spoke to me. The big guy with long hair and a beard served me and I asked him if my any chance he had a bag, he then started to basically mock the fact I had asked him if "by any chance" and that he should be asking me if I had a bag and not the other way round. He was laughing at me and making me feel really uncomfortable, I had some loose change in my hand which I was prepared to pay for the bag with. I asked him if he wanted me to pay for the bag and he continued talking about the fact I had asked him if he had a bag "by any chance". Italian is not my first language and it's horrible to undermine anybody in this way, ESPECIALLY a client who has just spent twenty euros. I've never been spoken to in such a horrible way by a server in my life. This guy needs to learn some serious customer service skills.
