Solo... non chiedete entrando se si vendono libri scolastici...io vi ho avvisato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A causa dell'emergenza covid19, ho telefonato per chiedere se fosse disponibile un libro di testo che sto cercando per la mia tesi di laurea. Mi ha risposto un uomo dai toni infastiditi, che alla mia richiesta di fornirgli il codice del libro, ha esordito con uno sbrigativo "non tratto libri scolastici". Quando ho spiegato che non si trattava di un testo scolastico, mi ha invitato molto frettolosamente a dargli il titolo (si trattava di un dizionario, quindi un titolo tutto sommato "generico" se non affiancato dal nome dell'autore e dalla specifica sul tema trattato, che non erano certamente le lingue). Non mi ha fatto nemmeno completare dicendo il nome dell'autore, che ha esclamato "non ce l'ho" attaccando il telefono. Zero professionalità e zero attenzione per il cliente. Non vi stupite se la gente decide di acquistare libri tramite altri canali, piuttosto che in una libreria fisica. Avere una libreria dal nome conosciuto, purtroppo, non è tutto.
Due to the covid19 emergency, I phoned to ask if there was a textbook I am looking for for my degree thesis. I was answered by a man with annoyed tones, who at my request to provide him with the code of the book, began with a hasty "I don't deal with school books". When I explained that it was not a scholastic text, he very hastily invited me to give it the title (it was a dictionary, therefore a title after all "generic" if not accompanied by the name of the author and the specification on the subject dealt with , which were certainly not languages). He didn't even complete me by saying the author's name, who exclaimed "I don't have it" by hanging up the phone. Zero professionalism and zero attention to the customer. Don't be surprised if people decide to buy books through other channels rather than a physical bookstore. Unfortunately, having a library with a well-known name is not everything.
