★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This airport was ok. The check in went smooth. The piano is very cool, you can actually play while in transit. Security was very unfriendly but didn’t expect anything different as we had a bad experience in Milan as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a pre-flight COVID test here today April 22nd. It took about an hour even though it was busy. First step was to use the QR code and get a registration number while waiting in line, gave reg # to first desk and signed agreement to quarantine if results were positive. Next got a ticket from the machine and then gave my passport over (!) while waiting for results. Get here at least an hour early to get this done but you do not need an appointment and the line is moving quickly.

Toilets were very clean and there are signs everywhere.
If you want to go by train or bus to your destination after landing then just follow the bagage claim sign.
The airport looks more like a mall, with an artistic touch.
If you're into art, this might become one of your favorite airports.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fiumicino Airport, often known as "Leonardo da Vinci," is in Rome, Italy. Both domestically and internationally, it is the most important entry point and busiest airport. According to some aviation organisations a few years ago, it was also named the 11th busiest in Europe. Many popular international airlines, including KLM, Ryanair, Vueling, Alitalia, and others, use this airport as a hub. This was my first trip to and from this airport on a vacation to Rome. It features cutting-edge amenities, like heating fittings to keep passengers warm while waiting for connecting flights or transit. I must admit, it's quite lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leonardo Airport is spacious but older. Much like the main city it serves, there are many areas that could use a bit of service. That said, the staff are friendly and it is relatively easy to navigate through the many gates and terminals. The bus and train system leaving the airport are easy to navigate, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got here 3 hours before my flight and had a very good experience. The airport is having some renovation but overall very clean, spacious and easy to navigate. From arrival to my international departure gate it took about 1 hour (without any waiting). If you come later than 3 hours before flight time the lines for green pass, security, shuttle, and passport control could take a lot longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice airport. Cool references to Leonardo da Vinci all over. Well organized. We got through security ridiculously fast considering the amount of people. It’s clean, has nice shops and eateries. Not too hectic. Staff helpful. Overall we’ve had good experiences here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a unique airport my first time coming to Rome and I got to see this place. The city already has marvels and they added some of it to the airport. It's fairly big, be prepared to walk. But it is a clean airport and quiet. Of course there are a lot of tourist here and schools taking trips. Other than that the experience has been good.
