Ich brauchte sehr dringend eine Speicherkarte und Google sagte mir, ich hätte noch 20 Minuten Zeit, bis der Laden für die Mittagspause schließt. Für die Entfernung von meinem Ausgangspunkt hat Google ca. 5 bis 8 Minuten zu Fuß kalkuliert. Zehn Minuten vor Mittagspause wollte der Verkäufer den Store eigentlich schon schließen. Für deutsche Verhältnisse im übrigen ein No Go. Meine Gestik hatte den sympathischen Verkäufer aber doch noch überzeugt. Ich benötigte eine Speicherkarte und die bekam ich sofort.
The clocks in Florence tick a little differently. I needed a memory card very badly and Google told me I had 20 minutes before the store closed for lunch. Google calculated the distance from my starting point to be about 5 to 8 minutes on foot. The seller actually wanted to close the store ten minutes before lunch. By the way, by German standards it's a no go. But my gestures still convinced the friendly seller. I needed a memory card and I got it right away.
