★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two stars because the way to the great spot on the river is hard to find, the signs do not help. That's why it was disappointing to go there and walk the whole path but miss the small path towards the river. The path looks abandoned. The fact that it wasn't crowded is a good thing though, once we actually made it to the passerella (at the spot there s an iron bridge which was locked though) we were alone. The water was very cold on a September day but it felt very refreshing anyway.
The spot by itself was great. As i said the bad review is because of the fact that the gorne overall is neglected, there are some signs there with explanations but they aren't of any help regarding orientation and way to get to the good spot. We were actually able to get closer to two spots. The other one further down the river was less exciting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Use the public access to avoid paying for the lift down. There is a ticket booth for access outside the park which charges about 1.5 euros rather than 12 euros for the park

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drive pass the official location, head into next town and follow signs to Le Gurne. Don't be put off by the small car park at the top and territorial Alsatian, follow the path to the right and it is a short 10 to 15 minute walk to the river. Rock pools, waterfalls, rocks to bask on and jump from. No litter when we visited and just a few other people. Ignore the very touristy location down the road and come here instead.
