Le Ciaccole

A very quiet place for a short break, a relaxing aperitif accompanied with various kinds of appetizers. Recommended

I don't know how it is, I often pass by to go to the library.

Service: TERRIBLE, very unpleasant staff. Extremely expensive. Location: it seems to be a monastery. I do not recommend to come for an aperitif to ANYONE!

Youthful club in a central position in Pordenone, ideal for having a drink on a warm July evening or playing a card game with friends: the assortment of drinks is interesting and the tested ones are good, the prices a bit high, perhaps due to the location of the room.

The menu is varied, but the prices of some dishes are a bit above average. Also, the place is too confusing. The proprietor chatted loudly with customers from place to place and walked around me to arrange.

The restaurant has changed management a few years ago. The exteriors are always the same as before but the service is different: the interiors are always the same but perhaps more tidy. There is a bar service, snacks and even a kitchen. Near the entrance of the Civic Library in a fairly ancient architectural complex ... The entire original complex belonged to a monastic order in the mid-modern era and up to the Napoleonic era and over the centuries was used for other public uses ... as a court (perhaps after World War II). However, the Cloister lacks internal flower beds or trees so as not to "waste" space in the event of public outdoor events. The entrance gates are impersonal though ... maybe it would take some wood (the gates are all iron). The toilets are always the same as before, very spacious, supervised (you must always ask for the key) and clean, well lit and with LED air detectors but perhaps with few windows. For the green pass control, you should not wait for the App to be updated. Public wi-fi has existed for over 10 (ten) years (previously there was the Naonis of the municipality ... now I don't know). After the pandemic, everything is more "clean" and orderly, perhaps also due to the lower influx of users and the lower presence of bystanders. A few more flowers would not hurt or a palm tree also in the external area that overlooks a town square and where the sun begins to warm up from 09.00 in the morning. The external area is raised and is accessed by a staircase. There are many modern buildings around the square but they don't hurt ... The square is over a thousand years old and who knows what's underneath (maybe a lot of history). The name of the village in which the renovated ancient building is inserted, can perhaps still be read on some information signs of the city. The only thing about the name "Le Ciaccole" (which in the Venetian language means "chat", "chat" in English) is that they should be written with a c and not with two "ciacole" and not "ciaccole" which derives from the Venetian "ciacolar" or "chat" but with a slightly different meaning depending on the context.

Studying often in the library, I often take a break at this bar. Very popular in the spring season, the location is very suitable and is a good meeting point in Pordenone. Very good ginseng, I always take it
