★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered the veal soup and it was clearly warmed up (though not entirely) and the portion was very small. I think that it was quite expensive for what you got.
Service was quite basic as well.
Nevertheless I enjoyed the scenery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were staying at Casa Sola near San Donato and happened to find this wonderful family restaurant. The food was amazing -- we ate family style so I s able to taste the pasta, pizza, main dishes and dessert, all of which were wonderful. Definitely save room for the tiramisu. The house Chianti was also high quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last year pizza was good/okay. Came back this year and our pizza was borderline inedible. Water/oil literally pouring out of the pizza boxes. No idea what went wrong. Never seen pizza this waterlogged and sloppy. Real shame as we would have eaten here many times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent two nights at a nearby hotel. In this restaurant was the meal settled. We were really looking for a real Italian pizza, but we only got an unbelievable pie. The second night was just an unpleasant boiled meat for dinner. Tap water was also paid. It was a huge disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We happened across this place on our way to our lodging. We dropped In For lunch and they quickly accommodated us despite the fact they were hosting a major party in the next hour. Food was amazing (homemade pasta and pizza)! I would definitely recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic find! Absolutely beautiful food. I had a thoroughly lovely evening here tonight with my girlfriend and her parents.The chef seated us and served up the food himself, along with bags of character. Couldn't recommend enough. Really memorable as a part of our tour of the region.
