★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Capoluogo della Val D'Elsa. Uno dei gioielli del Chiantishire, circondato dalle morbide colline coperte di vigneti e uliveti. Dai giardini davanti alla porta d'ingresso al piccolo centro storico si gode di una splendida vista su tutta la valle. Il centro storico, circondato ancora dalle antiche mura, è una bomboniera di edifici in cotto e in pietra. Vale sicuramente la pena visitarlo, anche per assaggiare gli ottimi vini prodotti dai tanti produttori locali.
Capital of the Val D'Elsa. One of the jewels of Chiantishire, surrounded by the soft hills covered with vineyards and olive groves. From the gardens in front of the entrance to the small historic center you can enjoy a splendid view over the whole valley. The historic center, still surrounded by the ancient walls, is a favor of brick and stone buildings. It is certainly worth a visit, also to taste the excellent wines produced by the many local producers.
