★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Andando a Barberino Val d'Elsa, la prima cosa da cui si viene attratti è sicuramente la facciata della Chiesa di San Bartolomeo, perché è posta in posizione sopraelevata e vi è un mosaico dai colori brillanti, che raffigura il santo, che catalizza l'attenzione. San Bartolomeo è il patrono della città e a lui è dedicata la chiesa centrale dell'antico borgo. L'interno ha il tetto in legno decorato e il pavimento in cotto ed è suddiviso in una navata centrale e due più piccole laterali, delimitate da colonne ottagonali. Sul fondo, nell'abside, il grande altare con il crocifisso e l'organo, sono illuminati dalla finestra istoriata.
Se siete in gita a Barberino Val d'Elsa, non potrete fare a meno di vederla e cogliere l'occasione per visitarla.
