★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dovendo fare un regalo a un sacerdote ordinando, mi sono recato nel tempio d’eccellenza della sartoria ecclesiastica. LAVS ha da poco aperto questo negozio a Roma, a due passi dal Cupolone, nella tranquilla strada di Borgo Vittorio: é un ambiente curatissimo, davvero magnifico. Personale gentile, accogliente, competente. Sui prodotti non serve certo questa recensione: sono tra i più acclamati nel settore. Quello che va detto è che i paramenti e gli accessori LAVS (Laboratorio Artistico Vesti Sacre, ma anche “lode”, alla latina) sono frutto di studio sapiente da parte di chi conosce bene la Chiesa e le sue necessità: qui non c’è vuota ostentazione del bello, ma tutto racconta la profondità del Sacro nelle sue più alte declinazioni.
Having to give a gift to a priest while ordaining, I went to the temple of excellence of ecclesiastical tailoring. LAVS has recently opened this shop in Rome, a stone's throw from the Cupolone, in the quiet street of Borgo Vittorio: it is a well-kept, truly magnificent environment. Friendly, welcoming, competent staff. The products certainly don't need this review: they are among the most acclaimed in the industry. What must be said is that the LAVS vestments and accessories (Artistic Workshop Vesti Sacre, but also "praise", in the Latin style) are the result of wise study by those who know the Church and its needs well: here there is no empty ostentation of beauty, but everything tells the depth of the Sacred in its highest declinations.
