★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Per anni ho usufruito del servizio di questa lavanderia quando si trovava ancora dall'altra parte della strada; poi mi hanno rovinato un vestito, praticamente nuovo, sostenendo, in modo anche abbastanza arrogante e sgarbato, che io glielo avessi portato così e che anzi era colpa della persona che lo aveva ritirato al posto mio che non lo aveva contestato subito. Ho provato a spiegare che nè io nè chi lo ha ritirato per me siamo lavandaie o stiratrici , pertanto mi sono accorta di come era ridotto come solo dopo averlo tirato fuori dal cellophane una volta arrivata a casa e quindi, secondo il titolare, la colpa è stata la mia. Già in passato mi avevano smarrito la cintura di un cappotto piuttosto costoso ed io feci finta di niente, per educazione, cosa che invece manca sia al titolare che alle sue stiratrici. Per carità, si può sbagliare, ma una persona professionale avrebbe semplicemente ammesso l'errore e chiesto scusa, ma non è questo il caso.
For years I have used the service of this laundry while it was still across the street; then they ruined a dress, practically new, arguing, even in a rather arrogant and rude way, that I had brought it to him like this and that it was actually the fault of the person who had withdrawn it in my place who had not contested it immediately. I tried to explain that neither I nor those who collected it for me are laundresses or ironers, so I realized how reduced it was only after taking it out of the cellophane once it arrived home and therefore, according to the owner, the fault is was mine. In the past I had already lost the belt of a rather expensive coat and I pretended nothing, out of politeness, something that is lacking both the owner and his ironers. For heaven's sake, you can be wrong, but a professional person would have simply admitted the mistake and apologized, but this is not the case.
