★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently stayed at the Laguna Palace Hotel in Grado, Italy to enjoy the Wellness facilities. Although our stay was enjoyable, the hotel did not meet the standards it advertised or those of a 4 star hotel in general. For the duration of our stay, 2 nights or 3 days, there were no extra towels at the spa and therefore had to bring our own. The wifi worked on and off, the heating was way too high in the rooms (+25°C.) and too low at the spa. The television menu was all in German and the movie service was unavailable, but more importantly, when we called reception to enquire about these issues, instead of receiving apologies, we were treated with contempt. The hotel's redeeming qualities were it's views, location near the center of Grado and the fabulous service and food served at the restaurant where I had the best spaghetti marinara I had ever tasted!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely room with modern clean look... but I am used to my soft pillow top memory foam individual wrap spring bed... Overall... Romantic atmosphere with the boyfriend... Wonderful breakfast... Peaceful environment... Nice view from my balcony of the bay... Friendly staff... Walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping... Very nice during the winter months when Grado is less busy... very close to the beach on the other side too.. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends...

Had to ask for Air Conditioning to be manually turned off as it is running continuously as default. Hotel reacted immediately as soon as i made the request.
Light switches are too many and in the funniest of places. Electrician didn't plan his work through at installation, but thats just a minor criticism. Didn't affect our enjoyment in the slightest.
Breakfast is very good (for the healthy minded). I myself prefer a little more fat in my breakfast. Could be better with some fresher bread and some fried bacon.
Didn't try the Sky restaurant as there is too many excellent places in town with a better atmosphere.
Great Spa area on the roof. Fantastic views over the Grado Lagoon and westward shoreline all the way to Bibione.
We loved the location as it was a short walk from the town centre. Everyday we would enjoy a stroll to and from town, past the local residents, enjoying the intoxicating bouquet of their Jasmine and Rose bushes, watching the most stunning sunsets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was great. We were traveling from Romania back home in France. They had a Turkish spa and a swimming pool. And an underground parking where our land rover could park. Didn't get to try there wellness centre too much as we only stayed one night and arrived pretty late.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place but expensive for what they offer you. The rooms are clean and the stuff very competent, but I was disappointed in the breakfast room, since I waited 15 minutes and no one came to help me finding a table. I was so upset that I left and I took my breakfast in the bar nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was friendly, location ok, out of center. That's it with the positive things. Breakfast was average, too crowded, average quality. Mattress much too hard (should have been replaced already many years ago), in general the interior too old and used. Air condition a desaster, can't be switched off fully. If you like it very cold in the night, than its ok, otherwise ask the reception to switch off the system - not possible at all in the room. Often times too loud because of the very nearby buildings - it echoes!
