Enchanting place but unfortunately abandoned to itself. I believe the WWF oasis ... it could be validated as a naturalistic attraction for the Children..although beside it .. the lake is erected .. a havoc..industrial abandoned.

Nonostante il degrado ambientale, la presenza di acqua salmastra e di vegetazione palustre attira una notevole diversità di avifauna, soprattutto di passo, che solo qui è possibile osservare in tutta la fascia ionica reggina.

Despite the environmental degradation, the presence of brackish water and marsh vegetation attracts a notable diversity of birdlife, above all in the pass, which only here it is possible to observe in the whole Ionian strip of Reggio.
