★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife, mother in law, and I found this quaint little restaurant on the internet. This is a place to go if you want to feel the heart of the city. Home cooking at its finest. The host is a wonderful gentleman who also made wonderful antipasti. You may be put off by the location, but I tell you, it is well worth your time odf the beaten path. Don't worry about neighborhood, you are right next to the piazza. If you like seafood, definitely order the clam and mussels pasta. The bolognese pasta is one of the best. It is very inexpensive, go and enjoy.

There is an English section in the menu.
Calamari and Anchovies in a pan were absolutely great. The antipasti plate was amazing.
Prices more than fair.
You will not be disappointed :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best address in Napoli for authentic food in a cosy and sweet atmosphere. Peppino is a lovely person and passionate about the food je serves.
Don't expect him to serve everything that's on the map. It's Naples ! But enjoy everything he will propose you. Traditional Napolitano food.
Special mention for the pasta alle vongole and the different vegetable dishes. We ate there for four days in a row.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The gnocchi was the best I’ve had in Italy so far. (And I’ve been on a hunt for good gnocchi) The owner was extremely sweet and helpful even though he struggled with English. A really lovely warm place for a comforting lunch to head to the castle for the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not go to this restaurant unless you speak Italian!! We ordered a selection of food which we didn't get and were palmed off with low grade microwaved dog food they call antipasti which looked like it had been on the side for 2 days. To add to insult the main was even worse, I ordered a Ragu and got bland mince meat with no sauce! And my lady friend orded a Bolognese and got bland pasta with a tin of tomatoes poured over it. Definitely one to avoid!

The food was delicious and the prices were very affordable. Also, felt like dining at a very local restaurant than all those overpriced touristy places. They also make delicious Tiramisu ?. Will definitely come back here ❤️
