★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was simply amazing. We've been seated front row to the view of Rome seen from the Eden hotel rooftop, but the food managed to top even that. As you'd expect from a Michelin star restaurant, it's been a crazy experience of textures, flavors and top notch ingredients - and the staff was so kind, helpful and courteous in a way that makes you understand the difference between fine dining experiences and all the rest. A perfect 10!

The views are wonderful, but it's really about the food: the ideas behind it (creative and surprising but accessible), the execution (as close to flawless as one can get), and, above all, the taste (wow). Also the service, which was exquisitely attentive, professional, warm, but not intrusive or overbearing in any way. The primary waiter/sommelier's wine recommendation could not have been better paired (and reasonably priced). Perfect. I cannot say enough good things about La Terrazza and hope to return before too long. Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We left La Terrazza both completely full and entirely impressed. Having had the opportunity to dine at Pinchiorri in Florence, Local in Venice, and La Pergola / Moma in Rome this week - we arrived at La Terrazza with a very high bar for what we would consider exceptional. The chef and staff far exceeded that bar. Cognizant of recency bias, we still left the meal convinced that La Terrazza was our most impressive dining experience this week - exceeding that of restaurants with both more distinction and a more established reputation.
Outside of the few small fixes that honestly amount to us nitpicking (typos on menu / bathroom inexplicably playing two verses of one song on continuous loop / inappropriate attention paid to decision on silverware served with each dish), we could not imagine a better experience. Note that none of these small fixes have anything to do with the food itself - which was truly a perfect blend of creativity and technique. If the true Michelin standard for three stars is that a restaurant is “worth a special journey” - then it won’t be long before La Terrazza gains its second and third star. This restaurant is absolutely worth a special journey, and we are excited to return again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very impressive restaurant with meticulous service and creative presentation. Even though it is very clear that it's an expensive restaurant with the prices explicitly stated and no attempt to oversell, I felt that in this case it was more overpriced than worth it. Note that although the view is spectacular, it is less so in the evening and if you are seated away from the windows. We have ordered a two course meal with some mocktails and were lucky to have been accepted on a very short notice. The mocktails did not stand out. Ravioli with broth were outstanding. The experience was strong in the small appetizers and special gestures from the chefs, such as some of the sweets (not all) and the wheat drinks. Other parts of the experience felt more gimmicky and pretentious, such as the diffusion of the rose aroma. The amount of food and additions felt overbearing and I would have preferred more focus with less items.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful greenish view, open concept, bright and delightful, good food and drinks, and on the way to washroom there’s a celebrity wall! Elegant place. I was there by myself and I very much enjoyed the entire experience. Will definitely go back!
