★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorantino piccolo ma curato, confortevole, sereno. Tra i migliori arrosticini mai mangiati, ottima anche la carne di agnello e la tagliata. Discreta a qualità del vino della casa, ottima la birra alla spina. Dolci della casa eccellenti. Personale gentile ed educato, prezzo corretto, amaro offerto. Sicuramente appena avrò occasione tornerò e proverò anche i primi.
 Small but well-kept, comfortable, peaceful restaurant. Among the best kebabs ever eaten, the lamb meat and the tagliata are also excellent. Fair quality of the house wine, excellent draft beer. Excellent house desserts. Kind and polite staff, correct price, bitter offered. Surely as soon as I get the chance I'll come back and try the first ones too.

Pizza for dinner.Informal and well-kept place, friendly staff who welcome you quickly and put you at ease.Parking nearby and located just behind the Madonna dei Sette Dolori church in Pescara hills.Wide choice of pizzas, focaccias, appetizers and bases gluten-free as well as with special flours such as spelled or kamut.Honest prices.
The pizzas we ate, including gluten-free, were really good. Compliments. Highly recommended ✅?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Accogliente e ben curato ristorante sui colli di Pescara.Gestito dalla Signora Franca (cuoca) e dai figli Maurizio e Valentina i quali ti fanno sentire subito come a casa propria.I collaboratori molto attenti e professionali segno di stare nel posto giusto.La destrezza e la bravura di Franca nel preparare ricette antiche di tradizione Pescarese e Teramana son il fiore all’occhiello del locale.Non dimendicate di chiedere le pallotte cacio e uova,il favoloso tacchino ripieno con castagne (credo il migliore che abbia mai mangiato) e gli incredibili primi da leccarsi i baffi.Eccellente il rapporto qualità prezzo.Sicuramente vale la pena ritornarci per deliziarsi con nuove proposte culinarie.Voto:10+
Welcoming and well-kept restaurant on the hills of Pescara.Managed by Mrs Franca (cook) and her children Maurizio and Valentina who make you feel immediately at home.The very attentive and professional collaborators are a sign of being in the right place. Franca's skill in preparing ancient recipes of the Pescarese and Teramana tradition are the flagship of the restaurant.Do not forget to ask for the pallotte with cheese and eggs, the fabulous turkey stuffed with chestnuts (I think the best I have ever eaten) and the incredible mouth-watering first courses.Excellent value for money.Surely it is worth returning to delight in new culinary proposals.Voto: 10+

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È stata davvero una piacevole sorpresa, trovata per caso a primo impatto abbiamo pensato fosse un po' cara, invece no. Abbiamo mangiato bene, la porzione del primo era un po' piccola, ma ottima la qualità soprattutto del secondo, la carne era cotta a puntino e abbondante. Ci tornerò sicuramente. Ringrazio di cuore tutti per il pensiero gentile che hanno avuto nei confronti del mio bimbo, era il giorno di Santo Stefano, gli hanno regalato una macchinina e dei dolcetti. Grazie dai ciuffreda
It was a really pleasant surprise, found by chance at first glance we thought it was a bit expensive, but no. We ate well, the portion of the first was a bit small, but the quality of the second was excellent, the meat was cooked to perfection and plentiful. I will definitely be back. I sincerely thank everyone for the kind thought they had towards my child, it was Boxing Day, they gave him a toy car and some sweets. Thanks from ciuffreda

CHRISTMAS 2021 WITH THE FAMILY Exceptional, Excellent. 10 for Cleaning glasses cutlery plates and mirrored tablecloths 10 for Kindness 10 for the rapidity of the courses 10 compliments to the Chef delicious and delicate but tasty dishes "the Pig with Apple and Chestnut sauce" amazing. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Typical Abruzzo ''s food, dishes as arosticini, Cacio e ova and much more. Variety of vines of the region. Well known in Pescara. Beautiful location on the hill of Pescara. The place is just restored with a couple of romantic terraces for the summer.

Had the chance to have a business dinner here last night. Very nice ambience wherever you decide to stay, whether outdoors in the front by the Baroque Church or in their beautiful internal garden, or in their dining room inside.
Food was excellent with quality ingredients, expertise in combining flavours that clearly comes from decades of homemade cooking style this family-run venue is famous for.
A place where the locals flock and as you taste the flavours you understand why.
Homemade pasta with mushrooms and truffles, grilled meats and an excellent pizza selection right out of a wood-burning oven, La Taverna offers something for all tastes.
Service was quite attentive and could be improved.
All in all, a lovely wine & dine experience in one of Pescara's loveliest 17th century quarters. Will certainly return.
