★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excelent authetic food. We went there knowing that it wasn't like other tourist-trap-restaurants...and it wasn't.
The owners husband greeted us and started out by warning us that they didn't serve pizza and pasta bolognese. Fine by us we agreed and found a big table overlooking a small alley and the setting sun over the Mediteranian Sea.
The menu - only in italian was carefully and friendly explained to us. Two of us.. me and my 7 year old son went for the full authentic dish: Trippa, which is cow stomach served in a bread bowl!! It, together with a well tasting tuscany draft beer (B.A.T.) for me, was a heavenly dish! During the meal the owners husband came to our table and we had a nice talk about this and that. Perfect hospitality and really cozy and nice atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice pub/restaurant. Inside an historical building (1500). Good ratio quality/price. Good choice of craft beer. I tasted the IPA beer ( with an amarostic aftertaste), really very good. Owner nice and available with family with baby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place and charming service. The cuisine is traditional and very selective. You get cheese and meat platters and various crustini. They also serve panini and local tuscan style soup. The restaurant sits right in the old part of town up in the hills. 5 stars from me

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What can I say about this marvelous pearl? Donatella the owner/chef follows a dream of hers by opening and thus managing/cooking at La Tana del Drago. She is very ambitious and it shows. Everything is very nice installed and the food is simply great! I knew her from another restaurant before she opened her own business and to everyone who reads this: go do me a favour and try it out! It is definitively worth it. Five stars+
