★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm really difficult when it comes about food, I'm visiting the area 5-10 times a year since four decades, and this place quickly became one of our top three choices between Chiusi and Orvieto.
Every dish we tried was executed perfectly. The flavors are mostly traditional but contain some interesting reinterpretations (The owner likes to play with different peppers and salts).
The place is connected to a wine shop next door, so it doesn't surprise the owner has good suggestions about wine, as well. We discovered with his help an amazing yet cheaper alternative to Brunello, a Sangiovese from a winery closeby, Poggio ai Chiari.
Looking forward to get back here in a few hours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience! They serve only seasonal food, the owner himself explains all the menu options available, and you get complementary wine with starters and dessert. The food is excellent, and so is the wine. It really is an experience to eat here. We were a party of 10 and everyone enjoyed their food and the experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I visit Tuscany I book a table here. If you are in vacation in the neighborhoods plan a dinner here. Managers and personnel are so nice. Food is delicious, you can find receipts from the medieval traditional cuisine as well as typical modern local cuisine. Great wines and desserts complete the menu and last but not least not expensive in my humble opinion. I definitely suggest you this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a very diverse menu. The waiter presents the dishes in 4 or 5 languages French, Italian, English, Dutch, included. The food is fresh. The house wine is good quality/price. A 3 course dinner will be about 30 euro. The place is busy and reservation is recommended. Certainly worth the money.
