β β β β β The worst service I've had so far in Lecce. I first sat down in the outdoor patio area, waited about 20 minutes with no service. Only to find out the outdoor area is self serve by the cafeteria next door, a sign would be helpful.
We get sat down at a table, menus were thrown at us, and we order food with a disgruntled waiter. He seemed stressed or just unhappy. All the tables around us got free bread, we did not. My boyfriend and I both order a pizza, no appetizer or drinks, this took over 40 minutes to get our food. The pizza was mediocre at best, and we finish the meal quickly. We had to ask for the check 4 times, only to get ignored. I noticed that all tables around us got a free watermelon dessert, except for us. Keep in mind, all of these tables were Italian.
We got up and finally paid at the counter. No bread, no free dessert , no service, and no friendliness.
If you're not Italian, don't step foot in this place.

FIND ANOTHER PLACE!
I took 1 starter, 1 first course, 2 beers (1 small, 1 large) and 2 coffee --> 25 euro ???
Look price!!! 2 euro coffee at the table in plastic cup --> THIEVES
There was also an error in the bill! Never never again!
Not acceptable in south italy!!!

restaurant owner's answer: I'm sorry to answer you in that way, I stay in the center town so i have prices (? I think he wanna say he had some costs), 2 euros for a coffee is too much?
Next time stay at your home, dont come to Italy and then if was an error (in the bill), we are humankind we could make mistakes goodbye ???

First of all, IM ITALIAN so I'm in my home (like you said), then 2 euros for a coffee when you make lunch in the same place (the cover was 1,50 euro) is a robbery, (i dont wanna talk about plastic cup for coffee, i will buy for you cups if you need it but stop with this) and then i wrote in english for all the foreigners that wanna visit Lecce! Have a nice day!
