β β β β β Don't know what happened when we visited but hopefully just a off night. Positives: nice location by the sea. Not so good: menu looked like a dog ate it, why? Just print off a new one, not that hard. Waited very long for 2 pizzas, the restaurant had 4 other tables that night. One pizza was missing one of its toppings, maybe they just forgot?. Prices for pizza were reasonable but just let down by slow service and very very average taste. Nothing to get excited about. Sorry. Maybe would be better another time, who knows.

β β β β β Really clean and friendly atmosphere, we were shown an off piste dish of fresh lobster which is an unusual dish for this area, we decided to go for it and what a great choice, visually stunning and very flavoursome, great choice of wine on offer too.
The restaurant has had a very tasteful makeover which enhances the overall experience.
We ate outside for lunch with a wonderful sea view what more could you ask for. The owner Guiseppe (Joseph) speaks perfect English and is very discerning and extremely friendly.
We would not hesitate to recommend La Ruota to anyone that visits Pizzo.

β β β β β A wonderful and popular place found on the promenade/harbour in Pizzo. We had pizzas but the seafood looked good too. Clean with great service and very reasonable prices. Recommended!
