Was in Montecatini for two nights, one of them happened to be my birthday. We stumbled on this restaurant by chance and were so glad we did. Couldn't get a table on the balcony but the maitre d kindly offered to open the balcony doors beside our table. Service every step of the way was first class. Very attentive waitress who spoke English and was extremely pleasant. Had complimentary rose aperitif as well as complimentary soup. Entrees and mains were beautifully presented and tasted even better. Lovely drop of pinot grigio to go with it. Very reasonable price of €222 for four. Could not fault this place. Well worth a visit if you're in Montecatini....feel sure you'll enjoy it.

Wonderful Michelin restaurant. Food is superb. The pate with orange appetizer is unbelievable. The restaurant was so good we went back a second time. The wait staff is attentive the decor is upscale but comfortable. I have traveled to many countries and eaten in many restaurants. This is one of the best.

Number1 on Tripadvisor so went their for a special meal and sat on the balcony. Nicely prepared and cooked food and a very interesting and an original menu and not too pricey for a special occasion. Staff were very attentive and service was good. Inside lacks atmosphere in my view so the balcony is best. Quite small so I suspect it’s best to reserve at busy times. It is attached to the very nice hotel next door. Recommend.

Non-EU citizen beware: if you don't have a scannable green pass they won't let you in, despite clear instructions from the Italian government. My wife called to reserve a spot outside and upon arrival we were asked for the green pass. We showed our CDC vaccination cards and were told those are not valid. I pointed out that official info on the US embassy in Italy with reference to The Italian Ministry of Health's website state that CDC vaccination cards "white cards" are an equivalent to the Green pass. The host refused to listen and said he has clear instructions not to let anyone in without a scan. We asked to speak to the manager, because it's difficult to get a last minute reservation wherever and we have a hungry 2 year old baby on our hands! We were told to wait a few minutes as somebody would be right with us, but nobody was coming. Feeling that something is not right my wife called the restaurant and asked to speak to the manager, but was told that the manager is not on sight. The host was obviously lying and hoping that we would just leave (make the problem go away). We confronted him, to which he responded very rudely that they are calling someone. We got into a discussion and finally the "manager" (or maybe not?) came out. The lady said she can't let us in, because they are facing big fines for violation. At that point I had only a few questions left: why couldn't she just come out and talk to us like a normal person without the whole theater of hiding and escalating the situation? Why make us wait with a hungry baby for such a long time hoping we would just leave? Why don't restaurants in high tourist areas get informed about the laws? Is this how Michelin-recommended restaurants work?

Elaborated, Michelin star level restaurant in the city center. Nicely decorated, sophisticated dishes. Very careful and attentive service. Anytime in Montecatini, would surely visit again. * Mind the larger portions.
