right after sitting, they started bringing food we never asked for, without even making sure if we had any preferences or requests.
we pointed out that due to our allergies, most of the products they brought were not fit for us, but the waiter replied it was our problem because they had a fixed variety of appetizers (that we didn’t want, as our plan was to have a single dish of our choice).
we then asked for the menu and they said they didn’t have one, not even a daily selection by the chef.
so they just kept bringing deep-fried veggies and asked if we wanted some first course, which we didn’t want anymore.
I would have preferred to order my own dish and so would have my guests, but it looks like in this place the owner decides for you.
I’m not going again and I’ll never send my guests like I used to do in the past.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful, family-run restaurant with excellent food. There is no menu - you are given a seemingly never-ending series of delicious dishes full of surprises: all very good and some truly exquisite. Just tell them at the beginning if you are vegetarian, or pescatarian and they will take care of you thoughtfully. Another surprise is the very reasonable bill at the end which makes this outstanding value for money. All in all one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Turn up, don’t worry what’s to come and submit to a sublime dining experience.

It might not look like the fanciest, retro cosy hipster restaurant and is 2 minutes walking from the old enchanting town, but the staff is great and the food: Mama Mia!
This is why you eat ❤️❤️
No menu, no prices, just let it go.
(And think afterwards: Nooooooo this can't be so cheap, they must have made a mistake)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the best meal of our 2 week stay in Puglia! The concept of the restaurant is very much home cooking: we were served a selection of delicious appetisers with local meats, local trumpet and other mushrooms and vegetables. The primi pasta with wild fennel was incredible, a credit to the chef! With no menu available we felt like we were in for a bad surprise with the price but it was very fairly priced, about 60 euros for two with wine. For the standard of food served we felt it was excellent value. Thank you!
