A partire dall’accoglienza , disponibilità , la cordialità del titolare e tutto lo staff , alla pulizia , alla qualità del cibo gustosissimo ( a volontà ) per poi finire con con la bravura della guida per l’escursione persone molto esperte ci siamo divertiti moltissimo. Struttura consigliatissima , rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo e accessibile a tutti. peccato averla scoperta tardi la Locanda di San francesco ma sicuramente ci ritorneremo l’anno prossimo!!! Grazie per tutto What about a truly enchanting place, too bad the 5 stars are very few. Starting from the welcome, availability, friendliness of the owner and all the staff, to the cleanliness, to the quality of the delicious food (at will) and then ending with the skill of the guide for the excursion, very experienced people, we had a great time. Highly recommended structure, excellent value for money and accessible to all. shame we discovered the Locanda di San Francesco late, but we will definitely be back next year !!! Thanks for all

Ottima anche la cucina con dei piatti particolari tipici del posto e molto abbondanti... personale super cordiale e disponibile.. unica pecca sono le doccie.. occorre fare manutenzione . Nel complesso consigliatissimo Very welcoming place with excellent hospitality from the owner Mr. Antonio who made himself completely available. The kitchen is also excellent with special dishes typical of the place and very abundant ... super friendly and helpful staff .. the only flaw are the showers .. maintenance is required. Overall highly recommended

Francesco è un posto che consiglieri e raccomanderei a gente che vuole staccare la spina e vivere giorni sereni tra l'atmosfera calda della locanda e quella frizzante della montagna...! E un sentito grazie ad Antonio il proprietario della struttura...!!! Hospitality, courtesy and kindness of yesteryear ... then sitting at the table ... is a real pleasure! Warm and welcoming, the inn of S. Francesco is a place that I recommend and would recommend to people who want to switch off and live peaceful days between the warm atmosphere of the inn and the sparkling mountain ...! And a heartfelt thanks to Antonio the owner of the structure ... !!!
d	dario mingione on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Qualche anno fa, per caso, durante il ritorno verso casa, mi fermai a pranzo alla Locanda di San Francesco e mangiai divinamente oltre che ad essere servito da persone educate e competenti. Così considerato che notai anche che fosse hotel, mi sono ripromesso di tornarci, magari con la famiglia per un week end. Allora quest'anno ho prenotato per l'Epifania (5,6,7 Gennaio), un pacchetto in pensione completa con 2 escursioni. La camera, una quadrupla, molto spaziosa, con affaccio lato montagna, molto silenziosa e con 2 bagni al secondo piano della antica casa è risultata pulita e molto calda. La colazione ottima, con la quasi totalità di prodotti non confezionati. Pranzo e cena, serviti da personale gentilissimo che ti fa sentire accudito, preparati con prodotti di stagione e prodotti locali, sono risultati sempre ben cucinati. Per i bambini, no problem, c'è sempre una scelta dedicata a loro! Le escursioni, una sulla neve (piano Visitone con slittini e padelle per i bambini) e l'altra sul fiume Mercure sono molto divertenti e naturalistiche. Infine Antonio, il proprietario, ti fa sentire a proprio agio con la sua disponibilità e professionalità! Consigliatissimo! A few years ago, by chance, on my way home, I stopped for lunch at the Locanda di San Francesco and ate divinely as well as being served by educated and competent people. So considering that I also noticed that it was a hotel, I promised myself to come back, perhaps with my family for a weekend. So this year I booked for Epiphany (5,6,7 January), a full board package with 2 excursions. The room, a quadruple room, very spacious, overlooking the mountain side, very quiet and with 2 bathrooms on the second floor of the ancient house, was clean and very warm. The excellent breakfast, with almost all non-packaged products. Lunch and dinner, served by very kind staff who make you feel cared for, prepared with seasonal and local products, were always well cooked. For children, no problem, there is always a choice dedicated to them! The excursions, one in the snow (Visitone plan with sleds and pans for children) and the other on the Mercure river are very fun and naturalistic. Finally Antonio, the owner, makes you feel at ease with his availability and professionalism! Highly recommended!

Per prenotare stato facilissimo, i proprietari polizia Antonio e la moglie sono il fiore all'occhiello, di questa locanda . Camere grandi con doppio bagno, cibi genuini locali della zona, e con i consigli utilissimi del signor Antonio siamo riusciti a vedere tanti posti. Posto veramente unico abbiamo già riprenotare foto per ottobre per la sagra della castagna e per febbraio con la neve After two years of lockdown we have decided to make an exit. Large rooms with double bathroom, genuine local food of the area, and with the very useful advice of Mr. Antonio we were able to see many places. Truly unique place we have already rebooked photos for October for the chestnut festival and for February with the snow

The room was simple, cozy and clean; breakfast and meals are large. The owner Antonio accommodated our special requests for salty breakfast and provided great recommendations for activities in the surroundings. The service by all staff was great. Bonus point for fast and reliable Wi-Fi and less points for lack of outdoor areas. Highly recommended for a traditional stay in this old and quiet town in the Pollino!
