Piatti molto gustosi fatti con materie prime locali a chilometro zero. Titolare molto gentile e legato al territorio. Il prezzo è molto conveniente. Viggianello è un borgo molto carino che merita una visita dirante la quale è possibile soddisfare anche il palato presso L'oro Verde! My review is about the restaurant in via Carella. Typical restaurant with some walls carved out of the rock. Very tasty dishes made with local zero-kilometer raw materials. Very kind owner and tied to the territory. The price is very affordable. Viggianello is a very nice village that deserves a direct visit which can also satisfy the palate at L'oro Verde!

Tartufo e porcini sono due prodotti egregiamente utilizzati nei loro piatti, semplici ma che esplodono di gusto di bosco. In gita sul Pollino, dopo aver visitato il Castello dei principi San Severino cercavo un posto dove pranzare e che servisse cucina tipica. Ho gustato un antipasto a base di formaggio caciocavallo alla piastra con crema di tartufo, spettacolare. Frittata al tartufo. Uova e l’oro nero sono da sempre una combo eccellente. Un primo a base di pasta fresca ai porcini. Un profumo inebriante del fungo più pregiato dei boschi. Sono rimasta talmente tanto soddisfatta dai sapori che ho deciso di fermarmi nel paese e aspettare l’orario di cena per gustare anche le loro proposte di pizze. Ho assaggiato il loro piatto speciale: rotolo di mozzarella, provola, porcini e tartufo. Una variante di pizza boscaiola letteralmente squisita. La mozzarella fusa assieme al sapore dei funghi e tartufo chiusa in un impasto croccante di pizza fa esplodere i sensi! Rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto. Per pranzo 26€ (3 antipasti e 1 primo), la sera 11€ per il rotolo e due birre. Titolari gentilissimi . Consigliatissimo !! A modest inn. Rustic, homemade and unpretentious environments but with traditional Lucanian cuisine. Truffles and porcini mushrooms are two products that are excellently used in their dishes, simple but exploding with a taste of the forest. On a trip to the Pollino, after visiting the Castle of the San Severino princes, I was looking for a place to have lunch and to serve typical cuisine. I enjoyed an appetizer based on grilled caciocavallo cheese with truffle cream, spectacular. Truffle omelette. Eggs and black gold have always been an excellent combo. A first course based on fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms. An intoxicating scent of the finest mushroom of the woods. I was so satisfied with the flavors that I decided to stop in the town and wait for dinner time to also enjoy their pizza proposals. I tasted their special dish: mozzarella roll, provola, porcini and truffle. A literally delicious variant of boscaiola pizza. The melted mozzarella together with the taste of mushrooms and truffles closed in a crunchy pizza dough makes the senses explode! Perfect value for money. For lunch 26 € (3 appetizers and 1 first course), in the evening 11 € for the roll and two beers. Very kind owners. Highly recommended !!

Locale accogliente senza troppe pretese, ideale per rifocillarsi al calduccio con una tisana, una pizza o della carne secondo le esigenze. Ottima la salsiccia e l'arrosto misto in generale, anche le pizze sembravano promettere bene ma non posso garantirlo di prima mano. Se si apprezzano tartufo e funghi da provare assolutamente. Excellent cuisine, friendly staff and more than honest prices. Cozy place without too many pretensions, ideal for refreshment in the warmth with an herbal tea, a pizza or meat according to the needs. Excellent sausage and mixed roast in general, even pizzas seemed to promise well but I can't guarantee it first hand. If you appreciate truffles and mushrooms you should definitely try them.
