β β β β β I ventured in here as a solo tourist without speaking much Italian, and it was a very entertaining night with the staff trying to help me pick out the best dishes. I was able to try two types of vegetable dishes from the little buffet table (both great!), a pasta with frutti di mare, and a thin slice of swordfish. Everything I had was great, and everybody was so accommodating. It was a fun experience, and lots of great food to choose from. I'd recommend it if you're visiting that part of Napoli!

β β β β β We had dinner at this great place our first night in Napoli. They have no menu, and they only speak Italian. However that was not a problem, as the owner asked the two tables on our sides if anyone spoke a bit of English and could help us with translation. It was all really nice and worked out perfectly.
They meal consisted of an array of starters from a table that was set while we had our first glass of house wine, served sangria-style in a mug with peaches. Delicious. We could make our selection between several delicious starter dishes - including spicy spinach, mozzarella, different vegetable salads, bean stews, and more - maybe 15 dishes in total.
For the main course we ordered seafood pasta, which was exceptionally tasty and came in large portions with hot, freshly baked bread on the side. The pasta was excellently made and perfectly cooked. Some of the best past I've had. Yum. A lot of the other guests had fish, meatballs and squid. Everything was 100% home made.
For dessert, we and panna cotta and tiramisu, a perfect ending.
For all this, including wine and sparkling water, we payed a very reasonable price of 30 euros for two.
I would recommend this to all my friends for a very good, reasonably priced Italian dinner.

β β β β β Delicious food! The owner is friendly. You'll probably want to know these phrases here "molto bene" (and possibly even "ottimo")

β β β β β Cheap, tasty and funny. Two different meal options, fixed price. Magic both pasta with seafood and genovese. Patient waiter, even with foreigners. Family vibes pervade every corner of the restaurant

β β β β β La Cucina di Elvira has very good food. My wife and I stayed in Venice, Florence, Rome and Naples and we concluded that this was the best restaurant. The restaurant does not have a menu because the bread and other food is made fresh everyday. As soon as you come in, the owner greets you. There is food already set up on a table and you can order chicken, salmon, swordfish, meatballs and others. The price is great too. My wife and I normally spent around 45 euros in all restaurants. At this restaurant, we spent around 23-25 euros.
I highly recommended this restaurant.

β β β β β my mother and I are regulars on sunday lunch. We like the familiar and informal atmosphere, the genuine cuisine, the generous portions, the wide choice of dishes with valid #vegetarian alternatives; the possibility of choosing sauces without meat or fish for me and always fragrant and fragrant fish fries for her.
The side dishes buffet is at your choice and is unsurpassed and always well stocked.
All at a very affordable price in the heart of Vomero (close to #Vanvitelli_metro).
Highly recommended.
