★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped by for lunch after visiting the castle and its amazing views of the bay. Turned out the actual highlight was the food and friendly service at da Fofo'. The grilled octopus with potatoes is probably the best thing I ate during my week in Naples. Super friendly staff - English speaking - sent me on my way with a handshake and a warm smile after my meal. Glad I visited and my only regret is that I didn't have time to go back again! What a treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice people, nice food, but a bit slow service. They had a fair number of vegetarian options and at least 1 vegan dish (all kinds of grilled vegetables and mushrooms in oil) which I have to say was actually really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived without a reservation, got a table within 10 minutes. We then waited a bit to get menus, then another bit to get the order taken and then more for the food - overall food on the table in more than 1 hour since arrival. Too much, especially since for us it happened to be a late lunch somehow and we were not advised on the waiting time. Others took pasta nearby and for pasta they waited same as us. The menu is very wide, lots of fish, lots of pasta. We had a mixed grill with meats, a salt and the mussels. The food was just decent, nothing spectacular. The salad was medium sized for the 6 euro. The mixed grill meat had small beef cut, big chicken and pork and another one which seemed processed somehow. The mussels were very small meat and average flavour, expensive at 10 eur. The water in the menu is 2 euro for 1 liter, they put on the table bottle at half liter and charge the 2 eur for each bottle, so 4 euro per liter. Overall 50 euro including 6 euro coperto, a bit much since we drank only water. The staff is nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived late at night and the owner still welcomed us. Menu is very good and local fish is a must since it’s Naples. We only ate antipasto and primo piato and dessert. Great flavors, seafood calamarata is a perfect choice. We were hungry, we left happy. Good price. Will definitely come back. Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but very nice restaurant. The service was very good. I asked the waiter what he would recommend (vegetarian, a starter, a main course, a dessert and a glass of wine) and I was very happy with the food. It was delicious!
I liked it, that they had pictures of the different dishes to show how they look and what they contain.
Next time I'm in Napoli I'll come back for sure.
