★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reserved and asked twice if we can reserve without a green pass. No problemo. After arrival we were asked regarding the green pass and were told it’s not possible. Please learn a bit of English!
Small update: We went to a finer restaurant and were seated inside without any problem. Thx to you we found this place.

We travelled around Italy for 14 days, and this is without a doubt the place where we had the best eating experience.
The food we got here was very good, and on top of that the service was just so much better than anywhere else.
We didn't feel the "ooh tourist" feeling that you can easily get a lot of places in Italy. Instead we just felt like they wanted us to have a really nice evening, that it was okay that we had many questions and that they wanted us to experience the good food that could serve.
I can only recommend going here :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best meal we had in Italy. The calamari here beats every other ones we had in other restaurants during this trip to Italy. The squid was lightly fried and the fresh flavor was well preserved. The pasta with potato was too exotic for me but my friend loved it. The environment of the restaurant, although in a basement, was good and cozy in general.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So glad a local recommended this spot as one of their favorites in the neighborhood. The staff was warm and welcoming and the food and wine were excellent.
Really enjoyed the Zuccotto di ricotta e melanzane, an antipasto of delicate eggplant layered with fresh and creamy ricotta.
One of the days special was a spaghetti vongole with added lemon and pistachio elements that took it to a whole other level of deliciousness.
The staff helpfully suggested wine that paired beautifully.
In addition a big thank you for their polite but clear commitment to COVID regulations including checking for green passes at the door, insisting on masks when not at the table and making sure tables were spaced appropriately. This made dining feel safe and even more enjoyable.
Compliments to the chef and the whole Borbonika team for a top-notch experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful evening. Very nice and comfortable restaurant, from the street it looks like a tiny place, but then you take the stairs down, and the dining room is spacious. The staff was attentive, and also very kind about our (limited) Italian! Each one of our dinners was fantastic, beautiful presentation and delicious. The menu is well priced. We will go back and tell our friends, for sure!!
