La ca nova è la dimostrazione di come si possa produrre ottimo vino senza la continua ambizione di aumentare le proprie possibilità! Un vecchio proverbio diceva che chi si accontenta gode e per fortuna c è chi gode ancora nel vivere con semplicità. Finding something authentic today is a rare occasion indeed. The nova is the demonstration of how one can produce excellent wine without the continuous ambition to increase one's possibilities! An old proverb used to say that those who are satisfied enjoy, and fortunately there are those who still enjoy life with simplicity.

Il titolare , un signore 80 enne di bell'aspetto, con gentilezza ce lo fa notare, ma ci accoglie con una visita alla cantina che ricorderemo a lungo !!! Apprezziamo la sua storia, da cui traspare una evidente grande conoscenza del magico vino che produce, poi un assaggio ed un ovvio acquisto meritato. Grazie signor Rocca, ha interpretato nulla di più' che il personaggio della sua vita, un appassionato vero del quotidiano lavoro di ...rendere felici quelli che entrano nella vostra profumata proprietà' . Inoltre sono stato qui con mio figlio, un impagabile prima per lui ed una soddisfazione per me. Grazie anche a Mara e Masha, degne compagne di vita. We arrived at the winery just after the departure of a rowdy bus party. The owner, a handsome 80-year-old gentleman, kindly points it out to us, but welcomes us with a visit to the cellar that we will remember for a long time !!! We appreciate its history, which shows an evident great knowledge of the magical wine it produces, then a taste and an obvious well-deserved purchase. Thank you Mr. Rocca, he played nothing more 'than the character of his life, a true lover of the daily work of ... making happy those who enter your fragrant property'. Also I was here with my son, a priceless first for him and a satisfaction for me. Thanks also to Mara and Masha, worthy life companions.

Segnalo anche il montefico bric mentina,meno Severo ma con gran profumi. Complimenti! prima o poi passerò a trovarvi. (passiamo spesso da koki e dalle ragazze dell'enoteca regionale) w il nebbiolo! I'm drinking this wonderful barbaresco held in the cellar for a few years, nothing short of amazing for sure great value for money. I also mention the Montefico Bric Mintina, less Severo but with great aromas. Congratulations! sooner or later I'll come to see you. (we often go by koki and the girls of the regional wine shop) w the nebbiolo!

Quasi 60.000 bottiglie, prevalentemente barbaresco, ma anche barbera e nebbiolo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! Family place reached with a group of friends on a MTB tour. Wine is made with love. Almost 60,000 bottles, mainly barbaresco, but also barbera and nebbiolo. Excellent value for money!

In a combination of English, Italian and Spanish we talked back and forth about a lot of topics including the process of fermitations of the different grapes and what makes a cru and normal barbaresco. The owner was passionate and patient. The wine is really good and good value for money. We recommend strongly!!
