M	Micheal Regan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading some reviews about the fish we headed here to celebrate my OH's birthday while on long weekend in Bologna. It's just soo good. We had Sole in white wine and Bream baked in a parcel ( al cartoccio) both filleted at the table and a mixed side salad - they were perfect. We also had some starters and drinks. 100% worth a visit, not fancy but great food and service, nice football/rock decor. Special shout out to Monica the Maitre d' super helpful
S	Simon Naylor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice location. Very big and cozy inside. The food was pretty standard. Very good but nothing special. The staff were not very friendly. No smiles. No jokes. No complementary shots of lemoncello after dinner as many restaurants offer. Other tables were given baskets of pizza bread but we were not. Maybe they are only given with pasta? The bill never came to the table though it was given to other tables, so we had to try to figure out where to pay. We tried two different pizzas and they were very good, but standard. The hot oil was offered and I recommend it. The beer list was very limited. The beer on tap was Becks, or at least it came in a Becks glass. I'm not sure if was actually a Beck's or something else. The pastas and pizza bread look really good. I didn't have a bad experience but it could have easily been much better. I might go again someday to try the pasta. The other reviews make me not want to go back. If staff make a mistake, such as spill beer on customers (which is an honest mistake that happens sometimes), they need to make sure they do something extra special and help the customers change tables, and get cleaned up. They should give them a serious discount on their bill, something free like a dessert, and offer to pay for their dry cleaning. I'm glad this didn't happen to me because I would have been extremely upset. Hopefully the customer service improves. This could easily be a wonderful place.
S	Steven Mather Solicitor on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was nice. A traditional Italian restaurant. Not over formal, suitable for our two kids. It was empty though, which was concerning. I think that’s no reflection on the place, just simply how many other restaurants there are in Bologna. Anyway the food was very good and the service efficient and the waiter tried his best to speak English and communicate. Pictured is the over baked tomato and cheese Gnocci. Delicious. Also here is one of my favourite dishes from the region, Filleto con balsamico - fillet steak with a balsamic sauce. Given the balsamic vinegar is made a few miles down the road in moderna, it’s a must try. Rich and tasty, deep luscious sauce with a very high quality steak underneath. Yeah the dish was maybe €20-23 I can’t remember, but it was worth it. My wife had 2 seafood dishes. Seafood is a speciality here apparently, sourced from Milan’s fish market I believe. I read the owners are from southern Italy which does fish better more regularly than the north. She was impressed too. Well recommended.
R	Radu Neacsu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is really cool, the ceiling is full of autographed football shirts(baggio, nesta, literally everyone you can think of). The place looks very nice and the staff is amazing. Massimo was really cool, took his time discussing with us, sharing ideas, helping with our order. Eventually I decided on letting him choose for me and it was the best decision i took in a long time. Our dinner was great and while usually all the food in Italy is very good, what we ate here was even better. I simply hate pasta a la ragu(bolognese) but i wanted to give it a chance, given that I'm in Bologna, and i must admit that it was really really good. Cheers Massimo, thanks for everything :)

When tourists visit your restaurant, do not try to correct their effort to speak you language. This guy was the only one who did this in the whole of Italy since 15 years. The French do this, not the Italians. Anyway, great food, must visit!

I wish I was there longer so I could have tried everything on the menu. I had maybe 5 different pastas, chicken, steak, and the made in house tiramisu. I was never disappointed. The owners Monika and Vittorio went out of their way to make me comfortable and have a great experience every time I dined there. I will 100% be returning here for many years to come.

This is the second time dining near the central area of Bologna, just following the map and the place is easy to find. Risotto and spaghetti with seafood are very fine(despite the salty part) Service is great, friendly and attentive, traditional and professional at the same time. Reasonable price to dine, by the way. Definitely will be here again next time. A must-go restaurant in Bologna. Ciao!
