★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in here on our way out of Lucca to buy a bottle of wine and the owner invited us in for several free wine tastings and a truffle oil tasting. He was very kind and didn't make any attempt to up-sell us. We had a nice conversation and went on our way after picking a few things up. It really was the highlight of our stop in beautiful Lucca!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this shop in my last day in Tuscany. Alain, the owner, was supposed to close at 19h (we arrived 10mins after that) and he decided to take us. Not only he explained and recommended on whatever we asked him (this guy is a super nice fellow) he also did a tasting of each of the products we were interested in. This was an AMAZING experience, the products are INCREDIBLE. Highly recommended! Good job Alain ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Third vacation in Tuscany, third visit to Lucca and third excellent shopping trip & very personal service in this wonderful small shop. To be honest, the shop was on top of the list of reasons for coming to Lucca again - not meaning that Lucca isn't worth a visit anyway.
Prices are not cheap, but the products are excellent, of which you can assure yourself directly for quite some of them with a tasting. Also the note in the shop window about CEO's and locals does have point (didn't check, if there is a pic on Google - if not, just check out the shop ?)!
Got superb recommendations for olive oils, balsamico and Grappa - and got totally hooked to all of them ?
The personal note, when talking to Alain and his wife is a very nice additional treat and does reflect the special charm of Lucca. (He even remembered me after ~2 years ??)
