C	Carlo Pagan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo pranzo e tanta cordialità! Dopo aver visitato il pozzo della cava abbiamo deciso di pranzare in questo ristorante gestito dagli stessi proprietari. Il locale non è molto grande e i tavoli non sono molti, quindi si sta proprio tranquilli, anche se è attrezzata una bella terrazza molto caratteristica dove poter pranzare all’aperto durante la bella stagione. Tutto è bel ordinato e pulito e si “respira” quell’atmosfera di una volta che ci fa sentire in famiglia, cose come il proprietario che passa tra i tavoli e con discrezione chiede se va tutto bene e sorride compiaciuto alla nostra risposta “Sì certo!!”, cose ormai dimenticate oggigiorno. Il ragazzo che ci ha servito al tavolo, molto cordiale e simpatico, ci ha consigliato benissimo sui piatti proposti ed essendo in quattro abbiamo assaggiato varie portate, tutte ottime, ben curate ed abbondanti per non parlare dell’ottimo vino rosso “Fornace della Cava” che ci ha consigliato, buonissimo! Gli antipasti di bruschette in più varianti (dal pomodoro al tartufo) e gli unbrichelli “arrabbiati” hanno raggiunto il massimo del punteggio per me, ma nessuno degli altri piatti è stato da meno. Abbiamo pranzato molto bene, sereni e in tranquillità e il conto è stato proprio la parte migliore del pranzo! Se siete ad Orvieto andateci tranquillamente e ne rimarrete molto soddisfatti. Carlo P. Great lunch and lots of friendliness! After visiting the quarry well we decided to have lunch in this restaurant run by the owners themselves. The restaurant is not very large and there are not many tables, so you can rest assured, even if there is a beautiful and very characteristic terrace where you can have lunch outdoors during the summer. Everything is neat and clean and you can "breathe" that atmosphere of the past that makes us feel at home, things like the owner who goes between the tables and discreetly asks if everything is fine and smiles pleased at our answer "Yes, sure !! ”, things now forgotten today. The boy who served us at the table, very friendly and sympathetic, advised us very well on the dishes offered and being in four we tasted various courses, all excellent, well cared for and abundant not to mention the excellent red wine "Fornace della Cava" who recommended us, very good! The appetizers of bruschetta in several variations (from tomato to truffle) and the "angry" unbrichelli reached the maximum score for me, but none of the other dishes was less. We had lunch very well, peaceful and quiet and the bill was just the best part of the lunch! If you are in Orvieto go quietly and you will be very satisfied. Carlo P.

Abbiamo optato per mangiare all'esterno in un angolo veramente suggestivo, una terrazza circondata da pareti di tufo. Abbiamo mangiato tre piatti misti di antipasti composti da bruschette con funghi e tartufo, olive, carciofi, pomodoro e bianche, affettati e formaggi misti. Tutti prodotti di qualità. Abbiamo poi preso quattro primi, gnocchi con funghi e tartufo, gnocchi al ragù, lombrichelli al tartufo, tutta pasta fatta in casa. Molto buoni tutti i piatti. Abbiamo preso anche una bistecca con patate al forno, 1 bottiglia di Orvieto, 3 caffè e tre amari della casa, acqua e coca Cola per i bambini. In totale pagato 135 euro. Fatto anche il giro delle grotte sottostanti. Bella esperienza, mangiato bene e posso molto tranquillo. Consigliato We went here for lunch with two families. In total 8 people. We then had four first courses, gnocchi with mushrooms and truffles, gnocchi with meat sauce, lombrichelli with truffles, all homemade pasta. All dishes are very good. We also had a steak with baked potatoes, 1 bottle of Orvieto, 3 coffees and three house bitters, water and coke for the children. In total paid 135 euros. Also made the tour of the caves below. Nice experience, ate well and I can very quiet. Recommended

Molti i piatti fatti in casa, tutti buoni e a prezzi veramente onesti! Abbiamo pranzato all’interno a causa del caldo, ma fuori c’è una splendida terrazza. Per ora aperto solo a pranzo. Raccomandatissimo A hidden gem in the oldest part of Orvieto. Simple but elegant restaurant, impeccable service in full compliance with all anti Covid regulations. Many homemade dishes, all good and at very fair prices! We had lunch inside due to the heat, but there is a beautiful terrace outside. For now only open for lunch. Highly recommended

Non abbiamo visitato il pozzo per questione di tempo ma il piccolo ristorantino collocato lato ingresso del pozzo e in una antica stanza in tufo, ci ha accolto con buoni lombrichelli a funghi e tartufo e dolcetti locali (tartarughe e tozzetti) con passito. Spesa contenuta. Consigliato per una sosta pranzo seduti. Booked (it has very few tables) for a lunch after having made the ring of the Rupe on foot. We did not visit the well for a matter of time but the small restaurant located at the entrance of the well and in an ancient tuff room, welcomed us with good earthworms with mushrooms and truffles and local sweets (turtles and tozzetti) with passito.
