Everything was super fresh and delicious. A very local and authentic place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a very good and authentic meal here on the way from Mt Etna to Taormina. Panzotti con pistachio pesto, fettuccine w mushroom, and steak (filetta) with mushroom. You can see the kitchen through a window in the back which adds charm. Molto buono

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this restaurant on “accident” and we couldnt have been luckier! We tried many bottles of wine around whole sicily and nothing was nearly as good as this what we believe was homemade wine. The food was incredible with very generous appetizer plate of various cheeses, hams etc. Everything tasted fresh and very tasty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals while traveling through Sicily. We found La Bisteccona by chance, seeing it while stuck is some unusual traffic caused by a very large truck on the street. We were driving through Santa Venerina after visiting Mt. Etna, and thought a meal in this small town restaurant was worth a chance. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Delicious food and will make it a definite stop next time we’re in Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a hidden gem! Behind the church there's this place that knows how to handle meat on the grill. Take it easy and take a seat.
Not only the meat was perfectly cooked, but also the pasta and the grilled vegetables were delicious.
